Very nice purchase
This camera is definitely 5Ghz compatible. The image is so clear. The tracking almost gave me a heartache the first time it tracked my movements... but it's really cool. The unit comes with everything to set it up except a mini SD card. It does have a mini card slot that I'm not able to set up for some reason. Getting the wifi connection set up is super easy.In order to review your activities you HAVE to subscribe to the cloud service... otherwise you get notifications of a still shot picture. I really hate being required to subscribe to a service I don't really want. There is an option during setup to review through the mini SD card but I can't get it setup for some reason. You will have to turn the intensity down because it will send a notification if a fly passes the lens. The power cord is shorter than I expected but I still had the long cords from my other cameras.

Another case of "get what you pay for"
This inexpensive camera works okay and set-up was fairly easy. There were a few disappointing discoveries. First, you cannot use all of it's listed features without purchasing a Cloud Storage plan. Second, you cannot review recordings without aforementioned subscription while away from your home or business. The only way to review recorded events without paying the monthly storage option, is by physically removing the SD card and using your computer and downloaded software. This is very unhelpful if you're away and something like a theft or accident is happening in real time. One could spend as n extra $20 or $30 and get a more functional system that eliminates the issue I have shared. Another draw back is that there is a "cool down" period after the tracking motor has been triggered to record. This could result in the loss of important details in your timeline recordings. To sum up, I recommend you spend a little more money for a camera that addresses the issues I've shared in my review.

SD Card Maximum incorrect?
About this item bullet points says it supports "SD card (upto 128G)". This appears to be false. Camera stopped working when 128 GB SD Card was installed. Instructions with the camera says the maximum SD Card is 64 GB. Now I have spent $25 for a SD card that can not be used and I cannot return it for refund. I installed a SD Card 32 GB and camera is working OK.

Inconsistent motion detection and network connection
I have had this installed and hooked up for a couple of months and I should have returned it while I could. The two major issues I have with it are 1) The motion sensor/detection is very inconsistent. There are times that an elephant could be standing in my apartment and the motion sensor will not detect it, and there are times when a fly will trigger an alert. And 2) often when trying to view the camera live/remotely it will constantly stop and say the network is unstable. The network is not the issue, the router and modem are not the issue as every other device works just fine over wifi. The camera is the problem, I will replace it after the holidays with a ring camera. You get what you pay for, this was a $30 fix to offer a little piece of mind when I am not at my apartment, however all I often get are frustration and disappointment in return.

THE FIRST ONE I BOUGHT WORKS GREAT, NO PROBLEMS. JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE. PROBABLY WILL BUY ONE MORE. THIS IS A UPDATE. I GAVE IT 3 STARS BECAUSE I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE BUT I'M RETURN IT. THEY (QUESTION & ANSWERS) SAY YOU CAN HOOK UP MORE THAN ONE. THE SECOND ONE I PURCHASED WANTED YOU TO PUT IN A CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT. AND I DID NOT GET A RESPONSE FOR HAVING MORE THEN ONE CAMERAS. SECOND ONE IS GOING BACK. I'M NOT GIVING CR. CARD AND NO RESPONSE FROM A QUESTION ABOUT MORE CAMERAS.
