What with the vast range of Shampoos, Conditioners, Hair Colourants, Special Treatments, Hair Spray and a myriad of styling devices, we are spoilt for choice. One of the devices are Hair Straighteners, which are not just for making long hair poker straight.• The appliance is neatly and simply packed in a black cardboard box.• Inside, there is just the Hair Straighter. There are NO User Instructions and therefore no details of any Warranty / Guarantee. This is unacceptable and a huge omission on the part of the Manufacturer. It does not matter how simple a product is, the Manufacturer knows nothing about the end-user and their knowledge. User Instructions are a must have.• The matte Purple finish of the Hair Straighteners is a nice colour and goes well with the Rose Gold finish on the Heated Plates, Control Dial and the end trim at the Power Cord inlet.• The Hair Straighteners are nice and weighty with a quality feel about them.• The Lock / Unlock Slider is easy to use.• The Rotary On/Off – Heat Control Switch is also easy to use and there is a tiny LED that illuminates when the device is switched on. The LED is Red and once the Straighteners have heated up the LED turns to Green.• At the base of the Power Cord is a Hanging Loop.• The Power Cord is a good length and measures 97 inches (246.4 cm). It is rotatable.• The Electric Plug is a UK Square 3 Pin. There is a Warning sticker attached to the Power Cord giving Safety Information.• Heating up and then cooling down after use was quite quck.At time of writing this Review, the RRP is £26.99, which I consider to be a very fair price. I am deducting 1 star because of the lack of User Manual & Warranty details.

Now I’m not a regular straightener user…. Well… it’s been around 10 years since I tried using one and got quite frustrated with it so I stopped. This one is soooooo easy to use.It didn’t come with instructions…. Yes I know it’s not a rocket science degree item but it’s been years and technology has evolved so yes I do need some instruction. Anyway, I looked on the Amazon details listing and got what I needed. What temperature, how long to use it on the hair for, warm up timing and safety instructions. The power lead swivels all the way around and doesn’t stop so no tangled wire to contend with. Floating ceramic plates are so good, making the grip of the hair between them easier to handle.I turned it on and it was to temperature by 20 seconds so go for action. I didn’t put any products on or wash my hair before using the straightener to show the basic results. I used the straighteners for a total of 5 minutes maximum and got the results shown in the pictures…. Smooth plates gliding over the hair feels so serene, no stress, no hassle just smooth flow. I’m amazed… can’t wait to use them with product and with extra time.Oh no…… now I’ve got my daughter wanting to borrow them!
