Replaced a Wusthof-branded one from years ago now that our knife collection increased. Looks to be built the same way but with a slightly lighter finish. Shorter than the 17" long older Wusthof, but not so short as the newer Wusthof one being sold now, and it fit fine in our case. The first photo shows it in our small 19"x9"x3.5" drawer with the empty Wusthof one on the counter above. The second shows the longer knives we have on their side for a sense of how much length they take up, and the third shows how you need to make sure you've got vertical clearance between the top of the biggest knife and the drawer opening (we have 1/2" to spare). Nice looking and solidly built from all appearances.

Fits our global knives perfectly! We wanted to get them off the counter and this was the best alternative.

This knife block is made really well. It is so helpful to be able to see all your knives at once and the ease to quickly access what you need while preparing your food.

Just like all the other ones on the market—sturdy, well made — but our drawers are a weird 9” wide and this firs absolutely perfectly. It leaves a little space but I don’t mind it.
