Jaw-Dropping, Addictive, and Wildly Entertaining!
The Housemaid completely hooked me from the first page! It’s fast-paced, suspenseful, and full of deliciously twisted moments that had me flying through chapters just to see what would happen next.Millie is such a relatable, flawed, but determined character, and the psychological tension between her and Nina kept me on edge the entire time. Just when I thought I had everything figured out—BAM—Freida McFadden hit me with a plot twist I didn’t see coming at all. This book gave me Verity meets Behind Closed Doors vibes. Dark secrets, manipulation, and power plays kept the tension high, and the ending left me stunned in the best way possible. If you love domestic thrillers with short, binge-worthy chapters and jaw-dropping reveals… this is a must-read.

definitely a good read
I would have given it a 4.5 if an option. But 5s I save absolutely mind blowing, life changing books. There’s nothing negative about the book or the story at all, but for me 5s are sacred. This book reads smooth and easy, it has great pace and development, the characters are interesting and have mystery about them, the story is exciting and interesting leaving the reader wondering what’s coming next. The ending is very satisfying and gives the reader closure. My favorite part about the book is that the author doesn’t fill pages with unnecessary information that you just want to skip over. She gets to the point quickly, she describes the scenes with the perfect amount of detail to provide the reader with exactly what is needed to understand and visualize what is happening at that exact moment. There’s no extra fluff. Even when she takes us into the thoughts of the characters, she does it minimally but with enough precision to perfectly understand the characters’ state of mind. The Housemaid is a perfectly packaged gift of a book, and I enjoyed reading it. Looking forward to reading the sequel.

addicting
This was my first thriller, let’s just say I finished this book in 48 hours. The way she writes makes this book quick and easy to read. I was very entertained and loved having the two perspectives. This was a great book and good start to diving into a new genre.

Enjoyable
4.5 star ⭐️ I really enjoyed this book 📕 and I’m so glad I read it. I was hooked from the beginning. I loved the ending. I have heard it compared to The Last Mrs Parrish but I haven’t read it yet. So on to book 📕 2.Some of the writing is on the lighter side but I expected this and sometimes honestly it’s perfect. Because you just want to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I'm A.D.D. and even I was locked in, unable to stop reading!
Let me start by saying I don't read books. I buy books, but try as I may, I just cannot seem to get themread, no matter how hard I try. I have A.D.D., so as much as I would LOVE to read a book, it's justnot something I have been able to do. Until now! No matter how many times I laid thisbook down, I was always able to come back to it and pick back up and was never lost. This wasa real first for me. The chapters are short, but not so short that it's irritating or jumpy. I literally waswalking through the house and would stop and read a chapter here and there, and even took this book tobed with me one night and read for almost an hour. That's something I've not been able to do in almosttwenty years. I truly thought those days of diving into a book like that were just over for me.This book doesn't have a boring moment in it, yet it still takes the time to develop each character along theway. I would urge anyone new to the series to avoid any videos on these books. I watched a video short to see whatorder to read these, and the plot was blown in the first sentence out of the person's mouth. I was so upset, I almostlaid this book down and didn't finish it. (Can you even?!) But I carried on after I calmed down. I'm so glad I did. It just got better and better!I don't want to say a word, I don't want to ruin anything for anyone. I will say that this is a great read. It'snot slow, it's far from boring. Your moral compass will meet some challenges, and you will both love andhate the same people as you go. Sounds crazy, right? Well, so is this whole story and pretty much everythingthat happens!PS: Freida McFadden, who hurt you, and do you want or need help burying the bodies? I'm free on Thursday. ;)
