At night, at bed time, I used to have to shut off the light and use my phone's flashlight to find my way to bed. All too often I'd kick something, or step on something, or stub my toe. Now, I go to bed and turn off the light from the comfort of my pillows n sheets.When I'm away I can power up the lights so people on the outside will think I'm home.This power strip allows you to power up each individual outlet using an app on your smart device. I can turn on my lamp and leave my husband's lamp off.There are usb charging ports too. Those do not have the individual option but that's ok.I love my smart power strip. One of the best decisions I've made with my Prime account.
