Great Zero Clearance Saw. Happy Customer!
2 months review, self-employed 25+ yrs, family owned business 150+ yrs. Needed to make 300+ feet of 0 clearance cuts and this saw did it flawlessly. One review said it has a plastic base, but I cut into it and it's made of metal, probably magnesium, with a coating that makes it feel like a plastic. If you need to make 0 clearance cuts, this is the saw to get, hands down. Extremely well built, worm drive motor will last forever, everything is heavy-duty, much more so than any of the other saws I've personally owned. Very impressed, even showing it off to anyone I think would care about such a thing. That said, this won't replace my daily use circular saw. In my opinion it's too heavy and cumbersome for what we do most. But for what it does there's nothing better. Some people complain about the proprietary saw blades, but I don't see how they could use a normal blade and still be 0 clearance because the arbor nut would get in the way. The 8.5 inch blade is capable of deeper cuts than your typical 7.25 inch saw. This is especially useful for cutting most I-joists in one pass, which your normal circular saws are not capable of.If I'm going to buy a saw for one specific job that doesn't come up very often, it's really nice that it has a larger blade on it. I will most likely use this saw for it's deeper cut more often than the 0 clearance feature. Very happy customer. This is a monster of a saw,.. in a good way. Thank you Cuz-d for making this saw, you saved me a ton of time replacing 40+ sheets of subfloor.

Amazing, but has limits
First day on the jobsite with this saw and I was faced with one of those impossible cuts - cut off 5-1/2" off the bottom of a wall of siding... normally running a skill saw along a vertical wall is too dangerous or you are certain to go off your line. This saw ran true and precisely at exactly the dimension I set with the edge guide... and being able to turn the handle 90 degrees - wow! Amazing... However I do have some issues...1) sighting the blade I find hard, so best to rely on the edge guide and set your width of cut by measurement rather than eyeing along a marked pencil line. 2) cutting right handed, I favor cross cutting with the wood to my left and the saw to the right if the cut. This is very hard with the narrow edge guide being the only support. You can't keep it flat to the material ... there's no support...3) I think of it as my RIP saw, not my cross cut saw...(I use my regular skilsaw for those types of cuts)

This doesn't get used much....
It's very bulky for what it is. Haven't found many times where it makes sense to pull it out of the tool trailer.

Great corded powerfully circular saw
The media could not be loaded. This circular wood cutting saw very strong and powerful that I bought, which is 110 Volt,The coil winding of the electric motor was modified and ballast control was performed. From now on, he will continue his life at 220 volts and now become a real beast ...We wish to have the option of different voltages as 220 V for European Countries

Stay away!
Have operated many saws and this one is junk. Stay away! If you return they will charge large restocking fee and charge for shipping.

Every Framer and Remodeler should own one
I don't think that it replaces other saws as much as it can do things that other saws cannot do. When you need to do those things than this saw will save you time and do a better job.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
Good idea, not the best product. We are a professional framing crew and found the saw to have a couple issues show up pretty quickly after incorporating it into our daily use. The retractable Plastic blade guard is Held tot he permanent blade guard with a plastic knob on top and a weak magnet on the bottom. The magnet would often detach, causing the plastic guard to hit the blade and rip itself off mid cut. Happened multiple times.Folding front deck is a great idea but it locks in place with a spring loaded pin. After a little bit of jobsite use the pin started to let go on it's own causing the front deck to fold up in expectedly - not safe when it happens right before you start a cut when the blade is running.Bevel adjustment and depth adjustment are also very difficult to adjusts you have large hands. We'll stick to a couple dedicated saws for different tasks.

Its cool
I purchased this saw for a specific task I had at hand but mostly just to try it out, it looked so interesting. While this saw can do things that others can't, I will say that it will not replace a bigfoot simply because it cuts only to 3- 3/8 inch leaving you 1/8 shy of finishing your cut. Just to test what this saw can do I tried cutting a 45-degree bevel cut in some 2x8. It did not feel comfortable to sight the line and it seemed to bind and not easily go through the cut. I may need more practice with it though. I ended up just using a regular skill saw. On some situations the design of the saw and especially its weight makes me reach for the bigfoot saw or the standard skill saw. So it won't be replacing those anytime soon.
