great stuff
Blends easily, stays in suspension with minimal shaking, good taste, keeps for up to a week in a well-cleaned glass jug.

Doesn't turn into oat milk
Does not desolve as well as expected and cost a lot per pound.

Excellent for baking, cookies, emergencies
A key benefit of this oatmilk powder is you can prepare exactly the amount you need, which means less waste and ready availability. We prepare vegan meals and treats for a family member, and have the tradeoff between cryopak boxes and purchased, chilled "milks." Either way, the cost per ounce is relatively high, and the rest of the container will not last very long after opening, even when you refrigerate it.This powder is an excellent solution. To reconstitute, just use a tared scale and measure it in grams (this is second nature for many bakers, and is an easy way to mix up a container of liquid for drinking, smoothies and so on.)While it can be a little stubborn to mix for a beverage, using a balloon whisk helps. Because I keep shelf-stable items on hand during hurricane season, I drank a glass of this chilled and then another glass at room temperature. While it is nicer chilled, it would provide steady nutrition if you were without power after a storm. To store, I suggest keeping the powder in the product bag, clipping the bag closed, and then putting it into a reclosable container (dry pasta containers tend to be about the right size). Store in a cool spot in your pantry.Thank you for reading. I hope this information helps you.

Usable, Needs a scoop
This oat milk powder comes in a good bag that did not show any signs of leaking during transport. I initially read through the instructions of how to mix the milk powder properly and was immediately confused by how big 1 scoop of the milk powder was. There is not a scoop provided in the bag. I tried to do some math and figure out how much to use based on the 20g scoop it recommended and settled on 2 tbsps. I found this extremely hard to blend smooth with the 1 tbsp of water that the bag recommends before adding the additional cup of water. I am now using it as a thickening agent in my protein shakes and only use 1 tbsp of powder and just shake it up with everything else. This is working for me but the initial mixing instructions and lack of a scoop made the beginning process frustrating.

A mixed bag
First thing I encountered with this, was trying to figure out the mixing portions. So incredibly stupid that there's no mixing scoop provided in the bag. The instructions say to "first mix 1 scoop (20g) of powder with 1 tablespoon of water until there are no lumps. Then fill up with 1 cup (200ml) cold water and stir in." I even stirred through the bag to try and find the scoop. There's no scoop. Upon looking up the conversion of 20 grams of powder to tablespoons, cups, and teaspoons... There's no clear cut "scoop" to use. I settled upon 2 tablespoons and a third. Very frustrating.Upon mixing it, I don't see a way to achieve "until there are no more lumps". Even after adding the cup of water, it's still very difficult to get it to completely blend into liquid without clumps. The second time I mixed this, I used a shaker bottle and it was a little easier. It does continue to separate and clump though.Ultimately, I used this with my oatmeal and it was ok. It's not nearly as tasty as store bought oat milk. But it should yield a lot of liquid for my oatmeal. And it ultimately does work for that. One suggestion.... PROVIDE A SCOOP IN THE BAG.

Doesn’t taste like regular oat milk
This seems to be a good value because it comes in a huge bag with 2.2lb worth of milk powder. However it doesn’t quite taste like oat milk you’d get in a carton. It just doesn’t have much flavor, it’s a bit sweet. The powder dissolved well even in room temperature water, the instruction said to use 1 scoop for 200lm of water, I doubled the amount and used 2 scoops but the flavor was still rather bland. I think it’s a convenient thing to have in the pantry for when you run out of oat milk but I would really prefer the real thing

Not the best flavor, ok for cooking/baking
So Ive tried this multiple different ways, and different variations for just having a glass of oat milk and have to say the flavor is a bit off putting for my tastes. Anywhere from too sweet to just bland. I have used the milk in cooking and baking and it was fine there. So cooking/baking, go for it, drinking as a nice big glass of milk....pass.

Similar to almondmilk, convenient to use in powder form
The instructions are a little confusing because they mix standard and metric measurements, as you will see in the instructions in the 2nd photo. After a little conversion math, I tried three flat tablespoons of powder in a cup of water. My husband and I used it this morning in hot oatmeal in place of our usual almond milk. It worked fine. We also tasted it before cooking with it, and it tasted okay, slightly sweet. The taste was similar to non-dairy unsweetened nut milks. I plan to use it for travel and as a backup for my usual almond milk. I only gave it four stars instead of five because of the added salt - I would prefer no added salt to go along with the no added sugar.

BIP-Hafermilchpulver
