Soooo suction cups tend to fall off the windshield, especially when it gets hot out. Saw this on Amazon and noticed it came with multiple attachments for various mounting types. Figured I'd give it a shot. Well, I'm glad I did. So glad in fact that I ended up buying another for our other vehicle. Both are Toyota Prius V. At first, I didn't think it would work because the rear view mirror arm on the Prius V is short and angled upwards. Then I read the instructions and the illustrations show that the screw and wingnut can be reversed and installed downward. Tried that and it worked! I was able to get the appropriate adapter on the mount and then the dashcam mounted easily - both cameras have different mounting types and the adapters were both included in the kit. I also ordered a 15ft long power cable and routed up and around the windshield and trim to hide the cable. Looks great and works well! Highly recommended for the short term! Will update if this fails but I don't think so because they seem sturdy.

This worked with my Zedge dashcam. It was a little hard getting the bolts to go on since it's almost smashed up to the windshield.... Can't go the other way but I got it to work.

If I didn't have a Honda CRV touring it would be perfect. I got it to mount o the support for the rear view mirror but, it's a tight fit and now the mirror won't move where I would like it to be. The mount restricts the movement of the mirror. I'm sure other mirror mounts will accommodate it better. But, this is a more secure mount the the suction cup that eventually falls off.

Even though there is a simple pamphlet that explains how to install it, it took me a good 1-2 hrs to figure how to get everything set up. (It comes with alternate ballbearings but they all were the same size and didn’t feel secure either.)If you’re looking for a small/unobtrusive clamp this will do exactly everything it claims to do— and with 5 star precision. But for $8 I wish it was either more stable or better quality; it comes with parts I’ll never likely use, and isn’t exactly the best fit for the dashcam I have. The plastic is fairly good quality, but I’ve seen friends with cheaper clamps for a better quality point.Given I don’t have any extreme circumstances, the clamp will last the duration of my dash cam’s life, so I can’t complain, but less is more.

I have purchase several suction cups to hole my phone and camera. After several months they seem to fall due to the heat of GA. I replaced my both of my dashcams suctions with this item. Installs in minutes, they give you (2) sets of screws so it can fit most vehicles. Has numerous attachment head to help fit most cameras. After installing this my car visors fit better helps keeping the car cooler and the camera stays in place.

Very flimsy that the mount keeps wobbling while driving. To make matters, one of the set screw threads got stripped. Don’t buy it.

The dash cam holder is easy to install. The variety of attachments is good but is not as universal fit for every dash camera. I have two different dash camera's and only one was compatible with the attachments. Overall it does what it is intended to do. However, the quality of your video will be affected by this dash cam holder. The holder cause the rearview mirror the shake and your camera will shake along with it. I tried tightening the screws and adjusting it in different ways but the shaking continues. When looking at the videos the shaking really bothered me.
