Jeep: The History of America's Greatest Vehicle Hardcover – July 15, 2014

Though the book does get a little long-winded on the lineage of every single model and sub-model, some people who are actually Jeep history buffs might value that. The photos of all the different models are priceless and I found that the photo descriptions were usually enough for me.Having recently purchased my first Jeep, I am very interested in the history of such a popular vehicle and thoroughly enjoyed this book.Though there has been some reviewer criticism of inaccurate or incomplete historical detail it did not affect my enjoyment of this volume; I think the best one out there on the subject.

Bought it as a gift for my husband. He loves it. It has pictures and history going way back. Nice book

A well written and entertaining book. Lots of pics, several of which I had never seen before. Highly recommended.

I purchased this primarily for the history behind the development of the Jeep for the military before WW II. It was published in 2014 so it covers up to very recent history of the Jeep brand. My only disappointment is that it is printed in China.

Got it for my brother as a birthday gift. He loves it. Will be getting one for my nephew for his birthday when the time comes. Had a problem with tracking, got great customer service help to get it fixed.

Great book for the keep lover. Really goes in depth from the first jeep to the latest. Interesting reading.

This is a nice book but it contains info on all the Jeep’s brands-due to the wrangler on the cover and the words “ history of America’s greatest vehicle “ I guess I assumed it was about just the history of how the civilian wrangler came about. It’s not.

I thoroughly enjoy this book, with all the details and available options for every year to 2015. Great pictures with some details of how things came together on so little.
