I'm not sure why some other reviewers have called this unit out for not being sturdy. No it's not if you want to put heavy stuff in it.... it would break. But if you want to put a small router along with an RJ45 mains adapter and a zigbee hub, all plugged into a mains extension lead inside it, then it's plenty strong enough, if a bit cramped. The lightness of the materials minimises any signal interference and makes it easy to hang on a wall. Ours is in the hall above the coat stand and has tidied that area up no end. I don't know if there were assembly instructions as i didn't look, it was that easy to assemble. We have one of a pair of Eeros sitting on top of the unit which were installed at a later date. Maybe I could have squeezed it in, maybe not, I didn't try as the Eero looks just grand sitting where it is. Looking at the cost of some of these units, I would say this model is fantastic value for money as long as you're not trying to squeeze in too much kit or sit on it.

Takes just a few minutes to build. Very light so attaching it to plasterboard wall with the fixings supplied was no bother. Holds a 4 way extension lead with associated power supply units for Sky router and Hive hub plus the inevitable abundance of cables and wires. Neat and tidy I’m very pleased with this item.

I bought this to house my Wi-Fi router and my Hue bridge at the top of the stairs. Assembly was easy and took a couple of minutes. Overall, I am happy with it and it looks a lot better having everything concealed.

Not suitable for the living room, best hidden away as the quality doesn't look suitable for a living room. Understairway, behinds cupboard etc is best
