Quality,Quality,Quality
I bought this because I often get shoulder pain when I have been gardening or doing anything physical like lifting heavy stuff around. I am in my sixty’s now and having a rotor cuff problems is a thing to be expected. I have used it both hot and cold and can honestly say it really helps to ease the pain and improve the mobility of my shoulder.I bought the ARRIS heated vest last year and again excellent quality. I would say it pays to pay a little more for quality stuff, however ARRIS doesn’t seem to be cost any more than some unknown brands.

Works like a dream!
What a difference!Fits well, easy to put on even with a rotator cuff issue, and the effect of having a cooling pack against the site of injury has made a huge difference.Very impressed and can definitely recommend.

Very heavy for a small lady.
Too big to use after a reverse shoulder replacement probably would be great for a big man with a painful shoulder, here’s something else for the land fill.

Strap missing
The media could not be loaded. Received the item, and after letting it ice to form and ready to use it. The strap is missing from the product. Not good when you are in pain wanting to use the product.

Superb shoulder ice pack cuff
This ice pack for the shoulder is superb. It arrives in a small box with everything you need. The instructions are very brief and not particularly helpful. But the listing on here has all the information you need. There isn’t much to learn and when you know what to do it’s easy. The wrap is vey well made as you can see from the photos. It has velcro straps and the inside has a nice material surface that feels pleasant against the skin. There is also a zip lock bag to place the cuff in when you pop it in the freezer. It takes about three to four hours to chill down. On my shoulder I experienced a good 40 minutes of cold therapy. The cuff was still cold after an hour. There are two small circular cold packs you can pop inside the cuff to pad it out or localise a spot needing more treatment. These circular packs are great to use although not as well made as the cuff. I’m unsure at this stage how long they will last. They appear to have a paper feel to the back of them. I think if treated with care they should last a long time. There is a video on this page that shows how to apply the cuff to the shoulder. It’s fairly easy but if your shoulder is bad you may need help. I experienced no issues applying the cuff. Essentially you can set one end up like a sleeve and then just use your other hand to velcro the strap at the front. Then adjust the sleeve if it needs it. It’s comfortable to wear and stays in place.I experience a lot of shoulder pain due to inflammatory arthritis and found the cuff gave me a lot of relief. The cuff can also be popped in the microwave to use warm therapy for your shoulder. Initially I was popping it in my microwave for 20 seconds. This didn’t really warm it up enough for me. So I tried it at 40 seconds and finally settled on 50 seconds. It will depend on the power of your microwave so I suggest you start at 20 seconds and increase the time if needed. I wouldn’t go above 50 seconds.I didn’t find the warm therapy as useful as the cold. The cuff didn’t really get warm enough or stay warm for long. I did feel though some pain relief after wearing the cuff for 40 minutes after heating it for about 40 seconds. Even when it didn’t feel that warm. I think the warm therapy is something to experiment with and be careful not to over heat the cuff. The recommendations are for 20 seconds in the question section of this listing. So start with 20 seconds and then increase time in small amounts. This is a well made shoulder cuff best suited for cold therapy with the option of some warm therapy. It is made of good materials and stitched well. It should last a long time if handled with care. At the price offered it’s definitely a bargain and I will be using it a lot to relief my shoulder pain.

A Quality Shoulder Ice Pack
I have been waiting for an operation for a tear to my shoulder rotator cuff on the nhs which has been postponed more times than i can remember. I have tried a number of these wraps without much success , so wasn't expecting too much from my latest purchase but i could tell as soon as i opened the box the quality was much better than all the previous ones. I already own the arris heated vest & beanie hat which although not cheap are of a high quality. I didn't see this item listed on amazon when i ordered other wraps , so i'm guessing this is a newly released item from arris. I put the wrap in freezer for about 5 hours, then applied the wrap velvet side first for about 10 minutes then reversed it nylon side. This wrap is quite heavy which helps a lot to keep it close to the skin. Its very easy to adjust to find the perfect fit. So it's a thumbs up from me, im happy at last. Thank you
