Rayne: A True Lover's Story (True Lover's Stories Book 3)

Another addition to the series
I loved Mike from book 1. He was a quirky guy with a heart bigger than the USA. So I couldn't wait to read this book.First two books were deeply emotional, and I re-read them several times. I feel that Mike's story was a bit different. It took a while for me to get into the story. His essence from Bishop and Wood's story wasn't in this book (for me). Then, something happened, and *BOOM* ( the part Bishop unintentionally hurt Mike, all thanks to Poison Ivy), everything in the story emotionally got connected.I felt Mike deep in my heart. He was "centered." I just wish the author did not bring up a punishment idea for Rayner's excuse for an uncle. ... I felt mortified that our "Mike" nearly forced Rayner's uncle to do the unthinkable act...thank GOODNESS for Rayne. It upset me, and It took a while for me to like Mike. Maybe I am wrong, but I can't help myself, that part of the story bothered me a lot.As I love the first two books in the series, I kept on reading (I have a lot of faith in this author. She writes awesome stories). The end was great. I hope there will be more stories. I really, really like True Lover's stories.Rayne...sweet Rayne.🥰 He's just sweet.

Oh my...
What an awesome conclusion to this series. Mike was everything a father, protector, friend the list is endless so its only fitting that he finds the love of his life. Everyone assumed Mike was straight but he has been with a man before. Rayne trying to recovepr from his addiction finds the love of his life who loves him unconditionally. We also get some action and see first hand how protective of Rayne Mike is. Rayne and Mike bring out the best in each other. Ms Via brings us a great series of guys who has had it tough but overcame all adversities as well as found family. Definite re read of the previous books for me.

Man I Love Mike
Okay this is the end of a series that started with Bishop and then Wood and finally Rayne. Mike is such a main character in all of them. He is a rough neck, he's coarse, violent and absolutely charming. He loves his family and will so absolutely anything for those who are His. Rayne is exactly who Mike needs. Rayne is calming and yet just the right amount of Needy. These two men are polar opposites but truly work together. I loved this series and I loved reading about Mike and his Sweetheart.

Beauty and the beast
It was very clear from the end of the second book that Mike instantly connected with Rayne and his protective instincts was screaming that it was his job to keep him safe.It was interesting to see Mike's relationship with Bishop and Trent from his perspective and really see how much he loves and cares for them. And with Rayne he could finally find someone to calm and relax the beast in him.And sweet Rayne who thinks he's just a pretty face and a body to use finally finds someone to see his real worth and the beauty within him.

Great Series Ending
This was such a great ending to the series. I’ve loved all of this author’s books and was thrilled when this came out. To the selfish people who gave a 1 star review without ever reading this because it wasn’t in KU right away (it was pretty quickly put in KU) shame on you. That was very unfair. I loved Mike’s story. Such a rough guy! Luckily Rayne came along and tamed him down a little! ♥️

A Fitting End
They say perfect endings don't exist but then this book happened. It was the perfect way to end this series.Sure, it took longer than expected due to the author's personal reasons but all is well that ends well. This was worth the wait.Big Mike was a revelation and Rayne was just a sweetheart. I loved them together and how solid their bond was.Special mention to Chelsea who became my bestie as well 🤣🤣..I just loved her.Go get this book if you wanted to see Big Mike get his HEA or if you've not started this series yes, what are you waiting for? Go get this book because it's well worth it.

Great ending to great series.
Loved the book except for Ivy.She didn't deserve to have any part in Bishop's life. However it was wonderful to see people get a well deserved second chance at life

Love Via!
I absolutely love AE Via's books, have since my first read of Nothing Special(which I have reread MANY times). This is book 3 of this series, although it can be a stand alone, it is best if you read Wood and Bishop, as they are also main characters in this story. Rayne is a recovering sex addict, who stays with his friend Wood but ends up falling for Bishop's Dad, Mike. It is a great love story, that shows the struggles addicts go through in daily life and how having a support group of friends really helps. Thanks Via, you did it again.

Last in the True Lovers Series
Mike has been a larger the life character from the moment we met him in Bishop and Edison's story. He's the epitome of rough diamond - an absolute sweetheart and generous to a fault to those he loves and as protective as can be, but there are still the shadows of his rough, tough life in the gang and the struggles of being a single parent so early in life. What's clear, though, is that it going to take a very special person to provide comfort and some relief from his responsibilities to family, friends and employees. Enter Rayne; a man with a complex life of his own. Kudos to the author for writing a romance novel with a main character working through this kind of addiction - balancing Rayne's abstinence with his developing relationship with Mike is well done. I like Rayne, especially when he takes the people who hurt Mike to task. This book, like it's predecessors, doesn't have wall-to-wall action and adventure, but for me that's fine - in this series it's all about the characters and a relationship-driven story arc, whether that's between the 'true lovers' or their family, blood or found. In and amongst that you would naturally expect some angst to crop up and it did here, but not in the way I'd anticipated. On the one hand, it was a good twist, but on the other I found Mike's reaction to the way the angst played out - and then the immediate sort of resolution - lacked a bit of balance for me.Overall. Rayne is a great way in which to round off the True Lovers series. 4*

Wonderful
Big Mike and Sexy Rayne! 👏👏👏 What an amazing story! From the moment you saw Mike burst through the pages in Bishop and Wood, you knew he was going to be an amazing person. The love and protectiveness he had for his sons, sons-in-law, Manny and his crew was unequaled. And when he met Rayne 🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🚒🔔 He was shooketh! 🤣🤣🤣The instantaneous fascination, intrigue, the way they were drawn to each other was palpable.Rayne was a beautiful broken soul that we met in the last book - Wood was his dear friend that helped him selflessly when no-one would…until Mike!!! This book was so heartfelt!! And so deliciously good! This was my favorite book in the trilogy. What a fab ending!!!❤️🎉🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Incredibly fierce love
Wow this book was a surprise. Firstly, I feel ashamed for not knowing anything about sex addiction; it is often joked about but this book puts that thought firmly in its place. Mike is an incredible character, fierce, loyal but really loveable and I'm so glad he found his 'rose'. This book showcases all of the characters which helps bring the book together. I still don't feel ready to forget this series, so I'm hoping there will be future books.....
