Very Loud Fans
These fans are great for the first few days and then they begin to make a very loud noise. I have four of them and all are the same. Customer service is great, they replaced two of them for me but they all seem to have the same issue. Would not recommend these fans.

Works great!
I have two axolotls who need to have cooler water. I had trouble keeping the water cool with it going from 72-74 degrees, just got it in the mail today and the water is slowly cooling down. It's down to 69 degrees right now. Working great so far!

Works well - if you get a working unit
Ordered one of these and it works great. Needed another, so ordered and was sent a defective unit. Sent it back, re-ordered and got another defective unit. Clearly this company has lousy quality controls in place.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I would definitly recommend this cooling fan. I have 3 axolotls, which are very sensitive to the water temperature. I couldn't keep the temp below 74 (which is bad for them) for more than an hour or so at a time, and was constantly rotating ice bottles. It was a huge pain and stressful because I was worried that they would not last long. I bought this fan, and an hour after turning it on, the temperature went from 74 down to 66! With the fan, the temperature usually stays between 65 and 67, never goes higher than 67. I could NEVER get it down that low with the ice bottles, those only dropped the temp a degree or two. I'd seen on reviews that some people thought it was noisey. Mine is still as quiet as the day I got it. Remember, with the fan the water will evaporate faster so you may have to add water daily depending on the kind of filter you have. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is that the little clips that hold the fan in place are not wide enough to slide over the edge of fish tanks with the black plastic lip around the top. There are ways around this, for example I got a glass lid for the aquarium, keep the lid open and have the fan attached to that if that makes sense. Anyways, I would definitly recommend!

One Star
When I plugged it in one of the fans was not even attached to the motor.

Great product
Awesome fan... I have a 30 gallon nano mixed reef. Temp was running around 81F and slowly climbing each day. My house temp is 77-78F and steady. Placed the fan on back chambers and I found the best placement for max cooling was to place the fan even with the right or left edge of the tank so it would be directly over the first and second chambers where the water is coming in from the tank. Also i angled it forward a bit so that it was as close to the water as possible. I have it on a 24 hr timer and had it running at first for four hours on then off for one hour and so on. Next morning the tank was 75.2F! This was too cold however, so I found the best setting for me was on for one hour and off for 1/2 hour.... I run this cycle 24/7 and tank stays around 77-78 F. Great product pretty quiet too. Much better than an expensive chiller well worth the money.

Awesome!!!
This fan works like a charm. My goldfish's water was 80 degrees and it brought it down to 68 degrees in one day! Saved my goldfish!!! Perfect for anyone who needs to cool their water down. Super quiet and so easy to install. LOVE IT
