Just use shoe laces!
I got these for my son. He is constantly struggling to keep his shoes tied no matter how much he knots them. The idea that these would remain in and still stretch enough to get his foot into his shoe was good. Unfortunately, these didn't live up to the hype.Installation was incredibly frustrating. They did NOT want to go through the lace holes. Once you did manage to get the tie through one side, it would pop right back out as you installed the other side. If you did manage to get them installed properly they would suddenly shrink by half their size. So, you were constantly having to remove and reinstall the ties until you found a decent enough location to use the tie and still be able to barely squeeze your foot into you shoe. Good thing was, once you figured out one shoe you could just match the other shoe with a tiny bit less frustration.Success is fleeting. We did manage to get a workable arrangement on the ties that allowed for feet to access shoes, but the the accomplishment was short lived. After a couple days use the ties would pop out every few steps. After the 4th or 5th time reinstalling the ties we gave up and went back to regular shoe laces. Just use shoe laces and tie your own shoes. It's less frustrating.

Perfect for folks with limited dexterity
I was unsure if these would work for me but after trying them, I don't know why I waited.I have Primary Progressive MS and have limited feeling and limited dexterity in my fingers so tying my shoes was getting to be a problem. Not any more, just slip them on and it's a done deal. I thought they might be loose but I was wrong, the shoes fit just as snug as they were with regular laces.

Great laces for kids who can’t tie shoes!
These are fabulous for those kids who cant tie their shoe laces. My son has poor fine motor skills in one hand and these help him to be independent in putting his shoes on. They were not very easy to put in and I’m guessing will be even more difficult to remove when he out grows the shoes. Great idea and work well!

Great concept, but these don't work for all lace shoe types
I love the idea, but I didn't realize that these won't work for every kind of lace shoes. Tennis shoe types work just fine as long as the lace holes face up, but my sketchers(The shoes I bought with these) lace holes face in a different direction, and these don't fit.

Shoes untied? Mine aren't! 😀
Every time my son gets a new pair of shoes, I buy another set and/or color of these. They're so easy to install and you can be creative with the patterning. I'll definitely continue to purchase these in the future.
