This is an absolute favorite toy of my cats.It has different activity levels to where they can play with one, two, or all three activities. It does take batteries. It comes with extra pieces; however, my cats are still working on the originals as they are very durable. It works very well and is worth the cost.

My 14-year-old cat has never had much interest in playing with toys, why should he as an indoor-outdoor cat and a mighty hunter he had No need for superfluous toys. For example, when he was a kitten we played with laser pointer 1 time, as soon as he caught that red dot he didn’t see the sense in trying to catch it again.Recently, he became an indoor only cat and I was concerned he get bored and not get enough physical activity. I started looking for interactive cat toys, I liked that this toy has 3 different functions and several different ways of setting them so the activity would change hopefully keeping him interested. Because he had never played with toys before he had no idea what to do. He would just watch it like a cat TV. I started playing with it, showing him how to use it, by knock the balls around, trying to catch the feathers that came out of alternating holes (not easy) & batting the butterfly. He caught on quick, he really liked the feathers poking out of the holes until he caught 1 and started dragging the whole toy which scared him for a moment, when he realized it wasn’t gonna hurt him (Safe toy!) he started playing with it again. The butterfly frightened him at first because it made a noise he hadn’t heard before and move really fast. I turned the toy on and started smacking that butterfly around with my hands, he took over smacking around with his paws 🐾 Once you turn it on it will run for 4 minutes then stop but when the cat touches, it turns back on. I hear him playing with it on & off for hours. If you want it to stop the toy just 1 long push on the button turns it off.My cat highly recommend this great cat toy! I do take it out of his toy rotation occasionally for a few days because just like a toddler he gets bored with his toys too.It’s very sturdy! My cat has tested that multiple times and it survived in 1 piece (it comes with replacement parts & you can order more) as well as several hotel rooms during the move.We are still on the 1st battery after many hours of play. I haven’t tried the charging cord yet because I forgot about it. I would recommend you keep the box to hold the charging cord and the extra parts making it easier to take with you and store. We ordered the green just because it was different. I don’t think my cat really cares what color it is lol he’s just having fun!!

This is the best cat toy I’ve purchased. It keeps them entertained and active. It’s cool because it plays for a while, and it will stop in a dormant state, but the cats can tap or touch it themselves and it will start up again. If it hasn’t been used in a certain amount of time, it will shut itself down. Well worth the money.

My cat just LOVES this toy. A great purchase made. He caught on quick how to turn it on when it shuts off. The only thing I found wrong with my purchase is how it stated the toy came with 2 replacement items. All I got was a replacement feather. Other than that, it is definitely a great cat entertainment toy. He daily can't wait until I turn it on. I have it set up on a charger cord. Batteries do not last long at all. They died with in 3 days.

My cat LOVES this toy!!! He could not wait for me to get it set up fast enough! I am totally impressed with the product quality!Pros:-My older cat loves this!-Has both a battery and USB option.-The timer and motion sensor feature are great. Both seem to work well.-Comes with an extra feather replacement piece.-Solid plastic quality.-The number of fun activities all in one, (the feather, the butterfly and the ball track).Cons:-Tucking the usb port into its designated slot underneath - too thin an opening for the cord, you have to really jam it in there or yank it out. As a result I nicked the usb cord’s plastic covering on the cord holder edge :(-Not really a con, but I hope one day the butterfly replacement options will have more variety like the feather replacement options do!All in all GREAT product and highly recommend!!
