The cabinet wasn't too difficult to assemble. My husband did it by himself and didn't have any issues (he's pretty handy with stuff like this). The cabinet is a little flimsier feeling than I expected, but after almost 4 months, it's still working well so that's good. The two drawers on top are great, but not as deep (front to back) as I hoped. And, the bottom of them is not real solid. I wanted to use one as my "junk" drawer but was afraid items would be too heavy. So, I cleaned up and organized my "junk" into pencil boxes, and that actually is working very well even though it is still a bit heavy. The other drawer holds my additional trivets and hot pads. One drawer is not perfectly aligned so sometimes it doesn't close all the way very well, but I just need to reopen and jiggle it and it does close completely. The best part is that it hides our trash and recycle so that I constantly have to show guests where to put their trash. Also, the top is great for additional counter space. I have all of my cookbooks lined up and a tall fruit basket/banana holder on top. I feel like it's holding those well with no worry about the sturdiness to hold that. UPDATE 12/24: It's now been over a year, and this cabinet is still working great! I am really happy with this purchase. I even learned that I could remove one screw on the door hinge to lower the door all the way out/down so that I could clean underneath the trash can. Figured it out all by myself (and I'm NOT so handy with stuff like this).

You're getting what you pay for with these. They're a basic good particle board material and likewise quality screws and hardware. BUT, I have paid more for way crappy. The top part is quite nice and beautiful, and I'm sure it is true wood. It took me and 1.5 of my children about 2 hours to put together the first time. I liked the item so much I decided to get the same item again (this was pretty much the original plan, but I wanted to see how I liked it first). The 2nd time it took two of us a little more than an hour to put together, since we knew what we were doing, but we got a little too cocky and had to undo and flip a mistake towards the end. Our bad set up back 15 mins. The instructions are pretty dang good and everything is nicely labeled, and it's nicely designed for putting together and also for staying together and being sturdy. We got these for our laundry room, one of the two bin cabinets is being used for outdoor toys. I'm kind of questioning this decision, however, since it seems risky as to the total weight of the items. However, it seems quite a bit sufficient for laundry and garbage and the drawers on top are so much cooler than I expected, we find them incredibly useful (garbage bags, car and house keys, garden and work gloves, cleaning rags). If you're considering getting something like these and you like what's in the picture, don't look any more, they're worth it.

Update: I contacted the company about the missing piece and they responded immediately and sent a new one. They sent a whole new package instead of just the 1 missing piece so I did have to find a way to dispose of everything else but it was still great they responded. I have updated my rating based on the now completed project. The assembly did take about 4 hours in total and was definitely on the trickier side. It wasnt impossible or difficult, just pay attention to the orientation of everything before you put your cams in. I would say if you're not comfortable with putting together furniture from scratch like this, you will struggle a little. One tool I had that made this way easier is an electric screwdriver. It saved so much time and effort. It is going to take some time so don't start it when you're in a rush. It might also help to have a second person for some of the assembling. I did it by myself and it was frustrating at times and a second person could've been useful. Overall the finished product looks decent and is a great way to hide garbage. The hinges do make a clicking sound but it isn't too terrible. The design also leaves the hinges visible which kind of takes away from the aestethic. They also aren't soft close so when you have weight in the garbage it will kind of slam a little. I got used to following through to close it. I also like the quality is slightly better than most furniture you put together like this. The back wasnt just the usual thin board you nail in, it has added slats and screwed in. It feels very sturdy and for the price I think it will hold up great. Lastly you will also have to purchase the garbage bins as it doesn't come with any. It was my assumption (my mistake) it came with them and had to order them after the fact. Overall I would recommend this even though I had the missing piece. Customer service was great and they took care of the issue. End of update This is as far in the assembly process as we got. We were missing the top board piece which is a crucial part of the table. The assembly didn't seem terrible so far and it seemed like it was going to be a decent product. But without piece 5, this is useless. And seeing how there are other complaints of missing pieces it seems quality control isn't that great. I wouldn't recommend this product unfortunately

Really good quality, I'm giving it 5 stars because it really is a beautiful cabinet great colors and the height is great. The only thing is and I consider myself to be pretty good at putting this type of thing together....the amount of time it took was ungodly! Its definitely worth it but if you are looking for something quick to throw together and you'll have it up this is not the cabinet you are looking for.

So far this has been great investment! My dog kept getting in the trash and this was an easy fix! Great quality and good value for the money! Color is as pictured. So far so good! Have had it for a couple of months!
