As a child, I had a very negative opinion of castor oil because I was once given it as a laxative. If one has ever tasted castor oil, it is not easily forgotten!However, I recently discovered that castor oil is great for using topically for calming skin inflammation and moisturizing. Although, I initially ordered this to use with a belly wrap and some naval patches, I have found other uses for it as well.I use the oil to moisturize my face, neck, chest, and around my eyes. I pat it on undiluted around my eyes, but because castor oil is more viscous than other oils like avocado oil or olive oil, I mix it with warm water to apply it to my face, neck and chest.Another benefit that I have found is that if I put the oil on my eyelashes before bed, it seems to prevent my eyes from drying out while sleeping. This has been a great discovery, because my eyes tend to get extremely dry while I’m sleeping – – so dry, that I sometimes have difficulty opening my eyelids.Overall, I’m very, very happy with this castor oil.

I love this product but I must say u thought it was bigger,until I remembered that I saw the reviews. It is pleasant to the smell and work well with my hair. It came packed well and I have had no issue with it other from the sizing. I will have to buy a bigger one next time.

Use this on my face as long as it isn't too hot out. Great to protect skin in winter. I think it helps to prevent dry eyes too if you just use it around your eyes and on your lashes.This oil seems to tighten the skin and help prevent wrinkles. After I put it on and let it soak in, I wipe off the excess with a wet wash cloth so my skin doesn't feel greasy.

This is my first castor oil purchase, and I made sure to purchase what I thought would be of great quality and value. It says "organic" and so I hope it truly is. The oil has a slight smell to it (not rancid, just a 'normal' oil smell). It's very thick, and a little goes a long way. I've been using it on the tops of my hands to try it out after my dermatologist used the cryogenic freeze thingy to remove something on my skin. It's healing nicely, so I'm happy with this oil.It is thick, but what I do is put the oil on my skin, and then I rub some regular hand lotion overtop. I like the smell of my own hand lotion overtop, and I do believe it sort of helps to either seal in or disapate some of the oil left on my skin. I look forward to using it for other skin/hair treatments.

Very good quality oil, we did notice a reduction in hair fall and some new hair growth after regular use. It is very thick and oily. We usually mix it with some rosemary oil before application.
