Huggable Amigurumi

Amazing experience with first pattern (elephant ) amigurumi from this book. Very simple pattern , easy to follow, easy and clear to read. I am not an expert in amigurumi, this is the 3rd amigurumi I made and really enjoyed the book. It took me one day to finish the body and head then one day for the rest of the pattern. My little boy ( 4 years ) in love with the elephant , it is almost his hight when holding him. And is now asking for the giraf. Highly recommend this book as a gift for a beginner level or someone who is looking for large size amigurumi. We are also planning to make all the other pattern for cancer patients at the children hospital in Jeddah Saudi Arabia

The animals are adorable! I especially like the giraffe and the elephant. I have only made the elephant so far and the instructions were pretty clear. I was having a hard time with the ears but think that was more my concentration issue than the pattern. I like that the the author tells you how much yarn you will need and they kind of yarn she used. I have gotten other books where they didn't! I made the elephant using #4 yarn instead of the bulky the author used. My elephant came out to about 15 inches and looks great!

Terrific patterns.. I have already made the 19" bunny as a 4th birthday gift for my great-great niece and she fell in love with it. Immediately asked her mom if she could sleep with her bunny which she named Molly Bolts (a character on her favorite t.v. show). The patterns in this both are clearly written, with lots of tips, beginners can easily make these animals.

The five animal patterns in this amigurumi crochet instruction booklet are all very cute. Be aware that they are BIG...about 19” tall when seated. The patterns are easy to follow and adapt, if you want to, but the sewing instructions for construction leave a lot to be desired. The instructions basically say to "sew head on", and other such simplified directions. I have knit and crocheted for many years, and done a good bit of construction of those items, so I was able to figure out how to make these, but for a beginner toy maker or crocheter, these patterns don’t give enough detail. All in all, though, cute patterns and I will probably make more of them. I made twin bunnies for our twin grandchildren for Easter, and they were well liked.

Very cute and the patterns are easy to follow and tell you exactly how much yarn you need and what type to buy. Highly recommend. So far I’ve made the elephant. They are substantial in size if you use the yarn /hook indicated in the pattern which is nice. Updated: I gave these to two small children and they loved them. I plan to make some of the other patterns as well.

Really cute patterns which are easy to.follow. Size is pretty big. Close to 20” tall using super bulky yarn (6). I only made the monkey so far. My 17 month old grandson loves him and calls him ‘baby’ 😄

Very clear and easy to understand instructions. I am using the general body model to create large Santas as gifts. The patterns are very cute with lots of options. I am a very experienced crocheter but even a beginner can do these.
