These fit well on the chairs, and are great for crumb catching, but they are absolutely NOT waterproof. I wrote in and asked before purchasing and the manufacturer said they were, and that liquid will bead off. Within a week of getting them my 3 year old spilled some milk and I immediately went to wipe it up. By the time I could grab a cloth and start blotting, it had completely soaked through to my seats below. Completely defeated the purpose of what I ordered them for.

The Chair covers seam to be scotch guarded or something like that, so the cover themselves is water proof, but they don't protect the chair pad if any movement or pressure are put on the chair such as the person getting up or blotting with pressure. The liquid can go through the weave of the material and to the chair pad. I thought that there would be a true waterproof barrier to protect the chair, not just the cover. I left a message for sellers but the response just said they were waterproof and they have tested. True they are, but the chairs are what i wanted to protect! I think others giving good reviews, have not had them long enough to see what really happens when they do get a spill. Thank goodness it was only water. Think I will get me some scotch guard now for the actual chair pad.

Product damaged and discolored upon arrival. The chair cover has several large yellow like stains on them. They also look cheaply made. Wld not recommend.

Absolutely perfect! Better than what I was expecting. I only bought 2 for the 2 chairs that my kids sit in, I liked them so much I just purchased 4 more!

Will be returning the chair covers asap. They are in no way waterproof. Got a little water on one and it went right thru left a nice way spot on my chair very unsatisfied.

I ordered these after trying 3 other brands that didn't fit well or just looked too cheap. These are almost perfect! They're a tiny bit too small, but I can live with that. I do have a couple suggestions for the seller:1) Please update the photos for every color you offer. I ordered beige hoping that it was really beige and not the grey shown in the photo.2) Maybe try to adjust your design to hold the cover shut at the back. Possibly add a couple buttons or velcro? One chair cover that I returned had a flap of extra material that tucked down - something like that might work.

I sit on an armless swivel office chair, fake leather that had started to crack and break off around the sides of the seat. I tried duct taping it but that didn't stick (surprise!) and the edges were scratching and annoying the backs of my legs. i didn't necessarily need a padded chair pad, i needed something with elastic edges to go around the seat of an office chair. This works, it's kind of like putting a sweater on a dog, there's a technique but it's simple enough once you get the hang of it. Mine covers the cracked edges perfectly. Eventually i'll get a new chair but until i feel this old one can't do it's job any longer, I don't like spending the money replacing things that work with just a few glitches that ought to be able to be "fixed," like with this chair cover. It is very lightweight so probably can easily be washed and air dried, haven't done that yet; also haven't spilled any liquids on it so haven't tested its waterproofing but I like all the rest of it.

This is my second set of chair covers. The first was for the kitchen to offer protection for white cushions. The second was in my dining room to expediently change the color to go with new décor after our move. I did not want to go through the hassle of changing out the upholstery just yet and taking a minute to slide over these new covers filled the bill perfectly. They provide a very good look and are stretchy. The only thing to note is that you can see the old upholstery at the back where there is an opening for the cover to slide over the back of the chair. If your old cover is radically different from the new cover, it is more noticeable, but not much, and still worth the overall new look. I did not take away any stars for this as it is the nature of the design. I may try to make some adjustments for this, perhaps with upholstery tacks or perhaps just trying to sew the two sides together. Also great customer service in their responsiveness to questions.
