Daelman Stroopwafel - The Original Stroopwafels, Toasted Dutch Waffle Cookies, Made In Holland, No Artificial Colors or Preservatives (48 Caramel Singles)

Love the taste but can’t stand it when I receive a box and they are a little bit crumbled because of shipping damage.

I bought 2 boxes = 48 singles wrapped. I first tasted these on KLM dutch airlines flight and so happy to get them here. They are delicious but too expensive! Looking for cheaper ones though.

Will purchase in the future

The taste is wonderful, they arrived fresh and chewy.

Dude. I just wanted to know what a stroopwafel was, so I bought some. One bite of these odd little cookies with gooey caramel sealed between the two paper thin, soft, buttery-sweet waffle-patterned wafers was enough. Plowed through both packages in a day and turned into scary Bilbo when my daughter asked for a single bite.My husband won't let me buy any more (something something about bad examples/mothers should share mumble something) so now I get this little eye twinge and involuntary neck twinge every time I need to buy soap because Amazon is right there, taunting me with little pictures ("Remember these? You'd like to buy more, wouldn't you? WOULDN'T YOU??!!").Don't buy these, man. They should come with an addiction notice. This is probably definitely or maybe part of a sinister plot by the Dutch - I just haven't figured out their game yet. (That's how they get you.)Don't say I didn't warn you.

I had these for the first time in Amsterdam and I loved them. I was glad to be able to get them on Amazon.

I purchased these somewhat accidentally. I meant to move them to my "Save for Later" list. Now I'm so glad I didn't. These are the same brand as the bags of mini waffles at Trader Joes, but so much better.These come in a medium strength cardboard box - meant for store display. Each is individually wrapped. None of them were in the least bit damaged. (Which make them all that much more enjoyable).Each has a bit of caramel seeping out the edges (no stinting on the caramel, no dry bits without caramel!). But the caramel doesn't stick to the wrapper if they have been stored in a cool, dry place (our cupboard could have reached a temp as high as 78 degrees F).Each comes out their wrapper easily - tear at one end of the seam and then across the seam & fold back. You end up with a nice little envelope to hold the cookie. Or you can do as recommended & place the cookie over a warm drink and melt the caramel further. But the caramel is plenty soft enough to enjoy without this.Many years back I had a brief trip to Amsterdam. Along with the many not-so-happy memories (getting a virus and being hit by a slow moving tram - long story), one of my happiest was my search for and purchase of stroopwafels. I was able to find them in a small bakery a couple of blocks from my hotel. Not knowing what I was getting, I only bought a small package. Big mistake! One I have regretted.I have found the small packages of stroopwafels in grocery stores from time-time. They tend to be crumbled around the edges and a bit dry. The little stroopwafels from Trader Joes vary. Sometimes they are great. Sometimes they are crumpled.These stroopwafels are all very fresh. Very crisp, with their chewy centers. They remind me very much of the ones I bought in Amsterdam (identical flavor). Their flavor is well balanced. Sweet, but not candy-bar-sweet.So now I am a happy camper with 36 individually wrapped cookies to take me back to the happier places in Amsterdam (the Art Museums, walks amongst the flowers and the friendly faces).So I will be back for more. I do highly recommend this particular purchase of 36 wafels.

I was first introduced to this snack on a flight I took. I have been looking for it in stores since but never on Amazon. I can finally say that I found this snack and it tastes exactly how I remember it on that flight. The packaging came clean and no major damage but a couple of what looked like impact indentions. The flavor of the waffle and the caramel center really went goes well together to create that iconic taste. The price however is a little bit expensive for the product. If I weren't nostalgically tied to it, I may not have bought it for that exact reason.

These are super tasty, bought them to add as a little treat into the christmas gift boxes we sent last year.However I would say this costs quite a bit for not a lot. But it was short notice and this worked a treat. They are really tasty and anyone who is a fan of stroopwafels will love these!

I’ll be honest I didn’t think much of them, not much flavour stale like, they are chewy but not really gooey and sweet.. even over a cup of hot coffee, not worth it really, there are much tastier things to eat with a coffee

I discovered these on a trip to the Netherlands. They are very nice a bit like a biscuit with caramel in the middle. Each pack has two stroopwaffels wrapped together and there are 18 packs.Perfect for packed lunchs or a sweet treat with a drink.Very nice to eat.

I love stroop waffles. Bought these at the beginning of lockdown to replace what I’d usually buy with a takeaway coffee. Taste the same and hit the spot when you want something sweet.

I buy these as someone used to bring them for me who went to Holland a lot. I love them.
