Dickies Men's Original 874 Work Pant

I despised buying new slacks every 2 years because the cotton ones from JCPenny wore out. The material they make these out of is spectacular. They may not be the most flattering fit (high-waisted, ugly belt loops, etc), but the indestructibility of the material more than makes up for it in my eyes. The material isn't what I would call "comfortable." But who cares - they are everlasting. They do soften up a bit over time, but it probably takes 30+ washes before you'll notice. I take the Dickies tag off of mine as I don't want snooty clients thinking I'm wearing a "working man's" pant while handling their investments. Little do they know that these are the best dress slacks of all time. When a pair eventually needs to be cycled out of rotation due to an accident, stain, or other problem, they make great work pants for around the house. They hold up to just about any activity from lawn mowing to chainsawing to oil changes on the cars. Great pants. I do wish I could buy this color in the US directly from Dickies. I had to buy them here to get this color for some reason.

My husband wears same work pants forever. It has to be dickies. For some reason, same size too small.

Great quality pants of course but slightly smaller than normal I would say by at least an 1.5 in. I’m sometimes a 36 waist and sometimes a 38 waist but these were a 38 waist and they are on slightly tighter than I would like but nevertheless they fit great.

All is good but the pockets seem to be smaller than expected.

I had to return and reorder for next waist size up. Not a big hassle.

Good, solid, rugged workwear. Love the Gravel Gray color. I bought the 34w because that's what I wear in Levi's but I had to exchange for a 36w. Exchanged with no problems. Would definitely buy again :)

This is a Typical - Quality - Dickies product. Note: they do run small in the waist.

These are the only pants my husband will wear for work so we buy them a lot

As always...love the Dickies quality...HOWEVER....their sizing is changing ... sizes have decreased in the dimensions. Order up a waist size
