I absolutely love this thing. This is my 3rd time ordering one over the last 3 years. My toddler recently lost my current one. Anyways, I like a natural pony with slight volume so this works great for me ! My hair is very thin and fine, this adds thickness under my hair band and a little volume as the hair comes out of the pony. Best way to use it is to slightly tease your hair over and under the placement of this tool. I slide the tool into the top half, twist, and then pull the bottom hair up into a pony. I also found that if you place a Bobby pin into the bottom of your hair band (underneath the pony) it keeps everything real secure. I’m surprised it has so many negative reviews tbh. I’ll keep buying as long as they make them!

This device is useless.

I have lots of super fine hair. Before this thing arrived in the mail, wearing a ponytail made me look like that one portrait of George Washington crossing the Delaware. Now, I’m Beyoncé, baby!Easy to use. Hides in my hair completely. Yes and yes, buy this thing and be beautiful!

It works but nothing so fantastic that its amazing. Lifts my ponytail a little higher but not easy to use. Would have to practice quite a bit to get it right. Life is busy-- not sure I want to invest time in that type of skill.

There’s only one ponytail holder and they are saying two pieces because of the elastic that goes around it, it’s very misleading in my opinion because it sounds like you’re getting two ponytail holders when you’re only getting one. These are sort of hard to find, but I have one & love it. Just split your hair across the middle (or higher if you want your ponytail high or lower if you want it low) horizontal pull the hair where you want the ponytail to be and then take this and twist a little bit against your scalp underneath the “ half ponytail hair, to hold it in place and then reach down and pull the remaining hairUP together with the top hair and brush all the hair together while holding onto the ponytail and then put the elastic on and it looks like a really full ponytail.

I'm surprised that this product doesn't have 5 stars overall, this works great for me. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. When my hair is down it has lots of volume because it's light and fluffy, but in a band, it shows it's thin side. So using this really makes it look thick and lush. I even use it to make buns and my messy knot look much thicker. And it's easy to use, but not the way the directions suggest. I pull up half my hair, then put the poof under that half, and then pull the other half up to cover the bottom of the poof. it takes a bit of practice to get the band around a couple times, but you'll get the hang of it (I use my pinky to hold the poof in place and pull my hair through). I lost one and had to buy another because I instantly missed it.

No use if it's crazy hard to do.

I have very thin hair and was worried the insert would show but it does not. Works very well.
