I like these wool shirts a lot. I bought a second one after wearing the first on a few cold weather morning runs. It keeps me pretty dang warm in a high 30's low 40's temp just on its own and doesn't feel overbearing or hot when I start getting warmed up. I also wore these as base layers on a trip to Chicago (I'm from Texas) and was pleased with how they performed there too. They do fit a little small, which is unfortunate for the belly rolls, but since I wear them as a base layer or by themselves for running, I don't mind the tighter fit. I think the only con is the wool smells like wet dog when it gets wet, but I find it more humorous than anything else. After all, it is wool. And it works like wool does. And that's the important thing.

Fits very well. I measure to 39" bust, and ordered Large, fits nicely. I think if you're at the upper end of a measurement range you might want to size up a little.Nice sleeve length & fit. Overall shirt length is nice, hits at hips.Fabric is a little scratchy, but you get used to it quickly. To be expected with wool... Docked a star since I did expect a smoother weave at this price point.

Great until I washed it. Nice looking shirt, fit well, soft material. But when I washed it, it came out looking like an old pair of linty, pilly socks. What a disappointment. I'd definitely return it if it wasn't too late.

I originally bought 2 of these, one in black, one in charcoal, in extra large as directed by the sizing chart. I found them to be way to big. There wasn't an option to exchange them directly, but when I returned my order to Amazon it was processed immediately, so I just ordered the grey shirt in the next size down. Having worn it a few times now, I can say that it's very comfortable. Warm, but not sweltering. It's not as super soft as some other brands I own, but it's still very soft and in no way itchy. I like it very much and the quality for this price (about half of most long sleeve mid-weight baselayers) is fantastic. I would definitely buy again, though I do hope they'll release an non-crew neck option in the future. Personal bias, I don't like things tight to my neck.
