Da ich keine Lust habe, mir verschiedene ND-Filter zu kaufen und für meine Fotografie variable Filter definitiv ausreichen, habe ich mich entschlossen, diesen Filter zu kaufen--> Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, Ring lässt sich sbenfalls sehr gut und leicht einstellen, leichte Vignetierung, aber für Portraits perfekt geeignet--> klar ist die letzte Stufe der Einstellung mit Bildfehlern nicht zum Fotografieren geeignet, aber für - wie gesagt- bei Portraits und meiner Art der Landschaftsfotografie bei extremer Sonne mehr als ausreichend. Da ich per se fast immer eine Vignetierung bei meinen Fotos hinzufüge, stört mich diese beim Filter definitiv nicht--> macht genau das, was er für mich soll--> klare Kaufempfehlung. LG Mark

Optically clear enough for most applications, only a slight reduction in sharpness when pixel peeping. Professionals wouldn't use variable ND filters, so don't expect professional quality optics from this glass. For posting your photos on social media and printing the occasional photo for your mantle, this is fine. The reason I only give it 3-stars is because of an incredibly annoying misstep by K&F; the mounting thread is 39mm as advertised, but the top ring is of an unknown, larger size meaning that none of my lens caps fit.

The filter is fine at lower densities, it does what you expect. but at the darker end, it gets kinda blochy and inconsistent. I think maybe ill stick to ND filters with a set value.

Using on a 39mm Leica Summicron asph on my M6 works great just gotta be careful with overdoing it with exposure 👍
