I was looking for a smaller sized hand to reduce the weight I have been carrying around. This one is it. the one thing about it that could be better is that it has a cloth strap. Matching the strap to the handbag would have been nicer.

I love the size and color

This was a replacement for the identical bag I bought 6 years ago, which was starting to show signs of wear & tear. This version has changed for the worse. The biggest issue is that the strap is shorter than the older version which, on a plus-size woman, is a real problem. Summer won't be bad, but with a heavy winter coat the bag will hit me right across the stomach--not good. The strap is only webbing (not leather), would it have killed them to keep the extra few inches? This is actually my 4th time purchasing this bag over the years because it was one of the few that had a long enough strap. When this one wears out, I'll be looking for another brand.Other ways Le Sak has "cheaped-out": They've eliminated the leather "slider" on the strap, which helped keep it properly positioned on my body & kept the strap from digging into my shoulder. One of the inside pockets used to have elastic around the top opening to keep things from falling out---gone. The fabric lining used to have a pretty pattern---gone.

I carried my first Sak for over 20 years before deciding I needed to retire it. Now I've got my new Sak and love it. Nicest surprise? It has a pocket in the back for the cell phone.
