Will your product color stubborn gray/white hair?

Hi there,

When dealing with stubborn grays, it's necessary to build up the color, which requires Color Prep and possibly more than one coloring session to achieve your desired results. There are also other factors that can affect color results. Our products DO NOT work well when products that contain silicones and other chemical film formers are used. Are you on an all-natural hair regime? If not, we always recommend using our Detox Mask before you color with Color Prep and or your desired khadi Natural Hair Color.

Hi there,

This really depends, for example if you need gray coverage, we always recommend using Color Prep prior to coloring your hair with our khadi Natural Hair Color Black. Color Prep is basically a primer, that deposits pigment preparing your hair for further coloring. If you have very resistant grays, we recommend letting Color Prep as well as khadi Natural Hair Color Black to process for double the recommended processing time (120 minutes) for proper gray coverage.

Yes! Our natural hair provide great gray coverage. Please note that our coloring process is a bit different. If you need to cover up grays, you would need to use our primer (Color Prep) prior to coloring you hair with our khadi Natural Hair Color Black. Color Prep will deposit pigment to the white hair and properly prepare the hair for our khadi Natural Hair Color Black. If you have resistant/stubborn grays we recommend letting Color Prep as well as khadi Natural Hair Color Black to process for double the recommended processing time (120 minutes) to provide optimal gray coverage.

Does it look orange on grey/white hair (like on the chart) or do you get a natural strawberry blonde/light red color? thanks :)

I have auburn red hair with a lot of grays.  I mixed Copper + 2 tablespoons of Classic red + 2 tablespoons of Light Brown.  So not too orange. It's a little bright at first but, calms down after the first wash.  
I’ve reduced the amount of time I leave the dye in my hair because my grays were brighter the longer I left the color on.  I go for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.  The trick is not to shampoo your hair for 24 to 48 hours after rinsing the dye out.  I wait about 30 hours; red seems to deveop quickly.  The company has a great customer service team, and they answered my questions quickly.  I also found a how-to video on YouTube.  I hope this helps.
