Fun way to practice spelling
We really like this spelling book. My kids love the different ways to practice every day and I really like the choice of spelling words.

Different from other spelling books!
Loads of choices as to what exercises to complete to gain proficiency with each word list. Visually laid out in a way that is not too overwhelming. I recently ordered a 2nd copy for my upcoming 6th grader.

Simple and effective
I homeschool my daughter and this workbook has been very helpful so far. It has 20 sets of words, each set containing 20 words and 4 practice pages. My daughter does one set of words per week. There's a workbook page for the first 4 days of the week and she takes a spelling test on day 5.

Great book - helpful
It is a great book. I like the simple layout. I have my son practice a list for a week and then do a test on Fridays.

Great book to help keep spelling interesting, without doing only lists and quizzes!
I purchased 2 of these work books for my 12 year old homeschool boys who are reluctant writers and one who is a horrible speller. It helps create fun and engaging ways to spell the words other than just writing them over and over again and doing quizzes. I do wish there were 5 pages per spelling list as we like to do spelling for an entire week before quizzing, so instead we photocopy the pages or use an extra piece of paper and use the same ideas to write them in an engaging way outside of the work book. It would also be nice to have different ways to practice the words as each list has the exact same prompts. I can’t complain too much though, my non speller is spelling much better and I have yet to find a spelling book or curriculum that was fun!

VERY GOOD SPELLING BOOK!!!
This spelling workbook has 20 lists, 20 words each. My daughter is in grade 6 and so far she's done the first 2. Each spelling list has them do multiple different things with the words. My daughter is a good speller but not REALLY good. So for example, I tested her on the second word list before she could even work on them so I could see where she is at with respect to difficulty level. She spelled 10/20 words correctly. I figure this book is PERFECT for grade 6's who don't compete in spelling b's. My son on the other hand is in grade 8, and I feel this book would be a waste of time for him as only many one word or two in each list he may not know, but still a good refresher!
