Microfiber Surf Poncho, Wetsuit Changing Bath Robe, Quick Dry Pool Swim Beach Towel with Hood

Don't usually write a review but I bought this for my daughter who is a competitive swimmer to wear after practices and in between her swim events in the summer. It keeps her protected from the sun while drying her, thin and light but with good absorbsion, comfortable, the lose fitting gives her air circulation to keep her cool inside. Fashionable, while keeping her decent, good quality, and without the wet towel and chlorine smell. I saw her team mate asked her about it.

This a perfect ‘after shower robe’ for showering at the gym. I hate to try and get dressed *right* after I get out of the shower and you’re all sticky, but also hate to wander the locker room nude. This is thin and lightweight enough to throw in your gym bag, and perfect to toss in as you leave the shower to wear for 10m as you do your hair, etc. can’t tell you how many people who see me wearing it ask me where I got it.

I bought this after looking for a lightweight packable robe I could use when I'm in the gym, hostel, music festival where I have to walk to the showers. This is absolutely perfect for those uses! I can put it on, remove my clothes, walk to the showers, put it back on, dry myself and redress without giving everyone a show. This dries very fast and packs up small. It's a robe and towel all in one and I wish I found this sooner. I also love the large arm holes that also has snaps so that you can keep them snapped when you are walking around (so it does not show inside), but unsnap so you can pull your arms through to pull on underwear, button pants, put on bra, etc. It does not have a front pouch which I think would make this garment a 5 but other than that it's perfect.

Absorbs water quickly and keeps you warm walking back to the car

I bought this because I use a robe after I shower because I don’t like towels. But I figured it would do double duty when I went on a beach/snorkeling trip. I throw it on after getting out of the water so I’m not dripping water everywhere. I also wear it to the buffet so I’m not going in with just a swimsuit. I also throw it on if the wind is blowing and I get a little chilly or when I want to nap and don’t want my body exposed. It also works well if you’ve gone on a water taxi or snorkeling excursion and you don’t want to die of hypothermia with the wind from the boat. I’m the only one in the West Bay of Roatan with one. Our driver said it was Mexican style, and I knew that, but I don’t think they see ponchos here often. There is no surfing here because of the barrier reef, but lots of diving and snorkeling. So my fear of looking like a surfer bum was unfounded. Anyway, if you lay it flat or hang it up, it will dry very quickly. There is room to change your clothes if you need to, but I am a smaller person. I can’t say how comfortable it would be to try to change if you were taller or bigger around the middle. It is very soft and easy to get sand off of with just a shake. I will say that I’ve had to ‘shower wash’ it twice for a 10 day trip because it has picked up a strange odor. Not funky, but not fresh. Maybe it’s the sea water? My poncho is light blue all around with no ombré as pictured. I don’t care as it does its job very well.

There's only one snap and the rest is sewn. Luckily the edges are sergered independently and then sewn together. So I ripped that seam out and replaced it with 5 plastic snaps. Now I have and enormous beach towel that is also a changing poncho. Plastic snap kits are cheap and easy to use. If you like suede style microfiber you'll love this thing. This material seems to want you to pat dry rather than rub, and it becomes more effective once it's picked up a bit of water. And it packs down to the size of a sub.

Packs nice and small Great for changing in very public dressing rooms. Made of microfiber toweling so acts as a large second towel. It will go on my next kayak trip to fit in my emergency dry bag. I no longer dive but it seems well suited for changing out of a wetsuit.

Keeps me warm & dry after dives, also a good protection from the sun. Lightweight, good quality, worth the purchase!

Damn it I wish I read the bad comments. This is crap! What a waste of money. The listing says towel but it definitely isn't and doesn't dry anything. Worth up to $5

Je mets une très bonne note, mais je le renvoie car il est beaucoup trop long pour ma taille! Arrive sur mes pieds! Et bien sûr plus large que large.
