DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
The main reason I bought this for my wife was because she likes taking pictures and posting them to Facebook. I bought this camera in early September and the problem still hasn't been repaired. Everytime I ask Sony, I get the same response, connect it to my computer and transfer my pictures to Facebook that way. I have had this problem for going on seven months. I don't think they have any intention of fixing the problem.

Two Stars
It is not stated anywhere in the description that it will only record for 29 minutes straight. Very misleading.

Needs an Upgrade on some features
The only bad thing about this camcorder is that you cant pause while your recording, you have to press stop and start a new video .

Not ready for prime time
Really a nice pocket camera, BUT...it's to slippery to hold. Keeps falling out ofyour hand. And it is heavy. If they had a plastic frame and rubberized, it would beperfect. You have to manually turn on the LED for indoor photos and turn it off, orit will stay on and run down the battery. I had to re-enter my password for Facebook, even though I said to save it. And the send to iPad connection kept dropping off, even when held close by. Excellent pictures! The camera does it all, no settings otherthan 2/5/8/12MP and video speed. That's it. Button on top for stills and round buttonfor video. You need a Qik account at $5 per month, to use the live video. Can't saveto your computer.?? This seemed half baked and not ready for prime time. I ratherspend my money on a big camera.

My wife loves this thing and after using it a couple of times I think it is a good video recorder.

cell phone camera is better... do not waste your money. what a joke!
I wanted a camera that I could easily carry in my purse without weighing it down, and that would also be easy to just toss in a diaper bag. I wanted to be able to easily get pictures of my kids at a better quality than my cell phone - which is an iphone 4. I purchased this at a Best Buy and the salesperson assured me that this device was the best and great if you are taking pictures of kids (WRONG - i'll get to that point in a minute) and that this device was WAAAAYYY better than any other digital camera out there with the ability to immediately post to facebook or upload. What a load of CRAP! FIRST, this thing takes a long time to focus so if you are taking pictures of small kids that never sit still you really miss out. SECOND, there is no true flash, just a light that stays on like a video camera, so that means that any picture in low lighting - actually any picture with out really bright lighting inside will stink. The pictures I was taking looked like they came off of an old flip phone I had 4 years ago! HORRIBLE quality!! VERY Disappointed! I feel like I was duped! I took several pictures in different lighting with my iphone and with the bloggie and only 1 time did the bloggie "win" and that was just barely. The only time it won was in bright lights. All the others there was no competition. It was insane the difference!Anyways I took it back for a little Canon Powershot on sale for $150 and so far it is taking GREAT pictures and it is about an inch shorter than the bloggie. I am also waiting on the Eye-Fi card to come in so I will be able to post from my digital camera and upload straight to my shutterfly account. Even with this card I it is still cheaper than this device - and a lot better!Do not waste your money! do your research!

Very frustrating little piece of technology
I bought it because of the WiFi feature, and yet I can't get it to work. The touchscreen is difficult and takes multiple pressings to get it to respond. It is totally non-intuitive. No instruction manual yet the one I searched and downloaded was 70+ pages long. Really? If something has a 70+ page instruction manual available one would think they would have included something to help get you going with this thing. I downloaded their memories software on computer and iPad, but when I connect its WiFi and try to upload to it I always get "server not responding" or "page not available." The only thing I have gotten it to do is connect to my iPad and copy over photos but video will not transfer. Now this could possible be my ignorance; however, one would think they would include some instructions for people like me who are not computer and video geeks. I'm not totally computer ignorant and on most things I can figure them out pretty quickly, but 5 minutes with this little toy and I'm fighting the urge to fling it out the window. Also frustrating is the lack of a normal charger and having to plug this into a computer to charge. I don't always have a computer with me and it would be nice to be able to charge this thing. I guess I was expecting more from Sony.Update - After 3 days, reading the manual I downloaded, and reading reviews and tips to try to figure this thing out I returned it, paid a little more, and got a Flipcam, which all my friends suggested to start with. I should have listened to them to start with.
