for all the good and bad that entails
This is a little pricy for what it is, but it is Sitka, for all the good and bad that entails. It is a fantastic next to skin silk weight layer that breathes like no other shirt I have. Maybe capilene comes a close second. But this lets any and every breeze through. Its a great layering or summer piece. It will add little to no warmth but it wicks amazingly well. While I understand subalpine is optimized for close up distances I think it does pretty well and medium and long range, of course I'm not a deer so I can't say for sure. I prefer zip pits because I'm weird, but I think the mesh probably on the whole works better. Plenty of stretch. Definitely an athletic next to skin fit, sleeves are plenty long (in fact longer than the sitka kelvin active jacket).

Im 6’ 210lbs XL fits like a glove
Wore this yesterday for the first time. Opening day of bow season in Missouri. 94° and no breeze. This is as close as you can get to not wearing a shirt. Don’t get me wrong, it was miserable hot out, but this shirt made it as comfortable as it could. High quality and fits great. I’m 6’ and 210 lbs. usually wear a large shirt and the XL fit perfect. Just long enough to tuck into my pants and the sleeves stopped right at my wrist. Couldn’t be happier.
