You can play piano! SO FUN, GREAT GIFT
When I first got this I was a little confused what the metal rod was in the plant pot. I saw that this was a touch sensitive Bluetooth speaker but, the metal rod is a vibration sensor type deal. My plant is not grown yet, but when you have it in the mode for piano you can touch the dirt and or leaves of the plant and it will do a vibration which turns the piano key on.I'm really satisfied with this, don't over water the plant you put inside because the drain hole will just leak out.The time is in military time so 1pm is 13:00. I couldn't find a way to switch it, not sure if there is.The sound is very good and if you don't have any soil holding down the plant it can vibrate a lot if you have it turned all the way up.Also the light on it is PERFECT I've compared it to pictures on other types of speakers. This one is a very mild but bright light. Just not so bright you couldn't fall asleep.I think it's a very very neat idea, and I think it's a great gift idea for a friend or parent.I love it, attached below are when I opened the plant speaker and after I put in some artifical flowers. This is SOOO MUCH FUN

I get the product initially set up and as soon as I need to charge it or go to use it after it was shut off the device likes to resort to extreme volume levels and can not stop the irritating Christmas chimes that echos throughout my office cubicle. If I could return it at this point I would but now stuck with a very non-user friendly product; and if you think reading the microscopic instruction manual to assist don't bother. Online manual is non-existent as well. Expectations were vastly understated.

Major disappointment.
Not exactly what we thought. Cheap and not worth it. Can't get the clock to be 12hr instead of 24hr.
