The Bookstore Ghost (Penguin Young Readers, Level 2)

My book club group really enjoyed this book. Storyline and characters gave us much to discuss.I was most proud as we were discussing the when and where - one of the kiddos said, "Oh, I know- it takes place in the present." We made a ghost shaped book report - just delightful for the children. I hope there will be more books in the series!

My grandson loved the story. He said he wanted own a bookstore when he grew up.

My son, who is spooked by the thought of ghosts, loved this book! It was also a gentle way to help him learn that not everything that goes bump in the night can be attributed to the supernatural.

My kids love this whole series. These books are great to read to young kids, very readable for early readers, and fun to read even when kids are older. Our favorite book in the series is Bookstore Burglar but this one is wonderful too.
