Parents BEWARE
The chair is a death trap for small children. Shortly after I assembled it my toddler tried to sit in it and the chair flipped over slamming on top of her. It is HEAVY and not balanced well at all. Luckily it did not hurt her but this could really hurt a small child. It is also not comfortable for an adult. Unstable and the seat literally cuts into your cheeks or thighs. I am 5.4, I can't even imagine how a bigger person could possibly nest in this.Assembly was also a pain and I am pretty handsy and love putting things together. I have not bought something I was so displeased with for a long time.

Not easy to assemble
The video makes it looks simple to put together, but this was not easy to assemble. On one of the chairs, the screws popped out when applying pressure to secure the seat and I am having difficulty putting it together and may send it back. Very frustrating

Difficult to assemble
These chairs look exactly like the picture, so that this part is accurate. It's the assembly that's a nightmare. You will need more equipment than the instructions ask for, specifically large clamps (1 is okay, 2 is better), pliers and a mallet. It is so difficult to assemble, and requires so much manipulation that the chairs become slightly out of whack, which means they don't fold well. I have a lot of patience when it comes to furniture assembly (I do it all the time), but I would not recommend these to anyone who does not enjoy furniture assembly. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

There is a reason for the "Frequently Returned Item" Warning
These chairs are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to assemble. I hate writing bad reviews, but if I can save you from the hell of trying to assemble these chairs, I will.Luckily I had a handyman, we had several projects that day, but it still took us 2 hours to assemble them and we nearly gave up and just put them back in the box about 4 times. After we finally figured out the first one, we thought the 2nd one would go much quicker, but it did not. The 2nd one was even harder. We ended up using a retractable rope to tighten the wood pieces and to be honest, I have no idea how we finally did it, but somehow we did. Thank god, but the experience was terrible. I would NEVER purchase these again and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Not only that, with $100 an hour for the handyman, these chairs ended up costing $200 more just to assemble.Suggestion to CleverMade: just sell them assembled! You'll get far fewer returns.

Terrible Customer Service from the Clevermade Manufacturer
I guess we just have to accept the fact that Customer Satifaction is not longer something that most of today's companies care about. I bought this chair through Amazon Marketplace as "Used- Very Good", with the comments stating that the box had some damage. Ok...I can deal with a dinged up box, and even a ding or two on the paint no problem. Upon opening this unassembled chair, I laid everything out only to find that there were two skinny, small connector cables that were not in the box. At first I was going to box it up and send back to Amazon, but there was a Customer Service contact on the instrucation manual for any issues, and I thought this would be an easy solution even though it meant waiting for the missing parts to arrive. After a few emails back and forth, it was clear that they were not planning to send me the 2 small missing parts because they claimed it a "used" item. Now mind you, there was nothing "used" here - everything was packaged as it should be. My guess is that someone else returned this item due to the missing pieces, but Amazon didn't pick up on that and sold through Marketplace. My point is that it would have been SO very easy and next to no cost for the Manufacturer to just send the small pieces and have a happy customer. Instead, they chose to argue over email and make it clear that they didn't care.I will be sending back to Amazon, but so sad that this chair will eventually hit a landfill because of two small missing cable pieces needed to assemble. Amazon also has responsibility here, in that they did not adequately check that all parts were present before selling a previously returned item. I do a TON of shopping on Amazon, and this doesn't happen to me often so I"m going to go with the premise it was an oversight. In closing - I'm obviously very disappointed in this transaction and now I have to haul a large, heavy box to the UPS store to return!

Not the most sturdy chair
It’s more for the aesthetic not a chair I would actually sit in.
