My husband was really unsure of whether these Firm compression socks would be useful. His feet, ankles and legs were badly swollen and he was using some kind of prescription system that required him to wrap three different strips around each of his legs - a bit hard for someone who had trouble bending over.These Futuro firm compression dress socks exceeded our expectations. We started with two pair that he washed out every night and now he has over a week's worth so we can wash once a week! More importantly, the old socks and the new ones are basically indistinguishable even though the originals are months older!We cannot recommend these highly enough.Only warning - if your feet are very swollen you may need an "RMS Deluxe Sock Aid - Socks Helper with Foam Handles". It's a plastic frame with pull ropes to stretch your sock over in order to get it on efficiently until the swelling goes down a bit. (Available from Amazon - of course.)

Typically, I’d purchase these compression stockings at my local drugstore. But lately, it seems that they would be out of stock, persistently. So I decided to get these online. My first attempt failed, because the seller failed to secure delivery of this item within Amazon’s time limits. So the second time, another seller did finally deliver the package. Absolutely essential footwear, when standing up for hours and hours at work.

These socks were exactly as represented. The extra elasticity in the ankles and feet were perfect for edema. My husband has been wearing them daily and has seen a major difference. Don't order a cheap off-brand if you really need medical support. I would highly recommend the FUTURO Lifestyle Compression Dress Socks.

I liked the amount of compression that it stopped the swelling of my lower legs. My shoes fit better. Only issue was the top band cause so irritation and redness of my skin. I turned them down a little at the top so that the sock gave me a little buffer from the top band. No further issues. I got 7 pairs to wear every day.

These are more comfortable than some other brands, but you still know you’re wearing impression socks.

These socks are very helpful for varicose vein help and leg fatigue due to standing throughout the day. I have used them for years with very good success.
