Sylvania 20668 Compact Fluorescent 4 Pin Double Tube 4100K, 18-watt

My bathroom fan's light bulb had gone out. The cheapest original replacement bulb that I could find was over $20. So I ended up purchasing this item. With slight shaving of some of the plastic on the base of the bulb, the light perfectly fit in to the fan and it works perfectly... This was a great deal.

I purchased the 4100K 18W bulb. These replaced the stock lights in a Panasonic Whisperwarm bathroom fan. The stock lights lasted about 2 1/2 years and were not very bright, more of a yellow light. These are a bright white light, which I prefer. These are a noticeable improvement, but time will tell how long it will last. For the price, it's worth the purchase

I bought them because the description said they would dim, but they don't. They work fine so it wasn't a waste of money.

didn't work - no light

This is a lightbulb that fits in a somewhat oddly shaped socket. In my case, a bathroom light/vent combination. It is really quite wonderful. Thanks to a handy switch that is installed on my wall, I can turn it on freely on a whim. I find this most useful at night, as the room becomes very dark at those times (although recently the moon was full and the skies were clear, which made the light bulb superfluous).Perhaps my favorite feature is the ability to turn it off - this results in amazing energy savings when I am not in the room, or even during daylight hours when there is enough ambient light to see.Overall, I give this light bulb a five star rating as it has illuminated my bathroom to my satisfaction every time I have needed it (and even one time when I did not but flipped the switch out of habit)!I gave it merely average scores for "value" and "longevity" as I do not feel the few weeks I have had it installed long enough to really judge it for such qualities.

These are great. We needed to get white light in the home, and these bulbs do the trick. Cheaper and easier than changing the light fixtures. Also, the only place I could find them was here on Amazon. Home Depot and Lowes do not carry these bulbs in their stores, only the warm light versions.

We must buy these to use in a panasonic bath fan. I'm not sure why, but we cannot get these to last beyond 6-9 months. Disappointing considering how much charge for it!
