Quadruple The Night!
Our factory duels throw a beam at 8K lumins like a flame thrower 150 yards out and that's all fine. But when riding on bike trails and paved paths in the black pitch dark we wanted a good back up system that's independent from the 2 48v 30Ah Samsung battery packs. Because when your out of power your out of factory lighting also.(Note we routed and mounted the pwr pack on the rear 2nd battery rack bar.)The big safety reason for another lighting system is two fold, maybe three. These project an extra wide superior night field of view and they expose all the homeless people walking around like zombies miles from nowhere in the middle of the night on paved bike trails as long as 20 miles in the great northwest.Yes it's gotten very bad! They can just appear out of nowhere and that's a big safety hazard! We've avoided several near missed run overs of individuals passed out on the sides and in the middle of paths, and collisions of people so drugged out they never even knew we were there, and were running at speeds of over 35 mph...These are our best aftermarket light purchasees we have made to date...The rear tail light is visible for at least 150 to 200 yards as a side note.BUY THESE RIGHT NOW!Safe Night Riding at an awesome price! And they might just save your life.... or someone else's!

Good lite
very good lite for the price. Long battery life. The battery did not hold power well after nine months. It would easily run high beam over 2 hours and went to only able to hold medium beam for just over an hour. Customer service sent me new batteries and was very accommodating. Very pleased with there service.

Works well
I have two of these on my electric mountain board and they work great. Battery life is decent if you keep it on a lower setting

Awesome Light
So far it works perfectly. Taken on 3 half hour night rides and still at 80% charge. Looks great on my bike too. 8000 lumens is very nice in the dark.

If you ride a lot, save your money for a higher quality light
Good-ish value. Purchased for regular, all weather commuting, so I put this light through heavy use—maybe 15hrs of run time per week. The stock battery you're lucky to get 4hrs out of before it needs to be charged. After several dead batteries mid-ride, I gave up on it entirely and bought a high capacity battery. The metal casing is durable, but everything else is low grade plastic/electronics. It is water proof. Within the last year, however, the light would start flickering and finally gave out. This is most likely due to inadequately designed heat sinks, causing the LED driver to fry itself.Another design flaw is that it seems the casing is too thick for the outer cooling fins to really do any good (I ended up taking the unit apart to inspect the construction as it was already out of warranty). Because the unit is rated as water proof, it has two orange gaskets on the front and back, which completely trap any heat build up produced by the LEDs. This is most likely a non-issue for the avg rider, and <1hr rides 1-2 times per week shouldn't result in heat significant enough to damage the unit.I did purchase another unit (at $20, why not?) just to keep on a spare bike. And also because I already bought the high capacity battery. I'm thinking I'll cross drill a few small holes for better airflow, as well as remove the front gasket. This will compromise the IPX6 rating and make it more vulnerable to water, but should be fine as long as it's not fully submerged or subjected to torrents of heavy rain. So, long story short, this light is a great value for the casual rider, but if you need something reliable for consistent riding, I recommend that you just splurge on a better light like the NiteRider 1200.

The best value in effective and safe bike lighting available, period
I build my own bikes, including one of the best road/commuter ebikes in the world. This light has been perfect for my night time mountain biking. The front light is bright enough on the low level for coverage. I've not had to use the higher two levels but might on a road bike at night where I might need a longer view. Don't forget that holding the power button a few seconds switches to flashing mode, perfect for daytime or twilight to get the attention of drivers or other trail users. The little red rear light is also a great feature and value added, easy to use and key to being seen from behind!I find I get about 6 hours of ride time out of a charge on the front light, something like 4 hours at 3 bars of charge then 2 hours at 2 bars of charge. It does fail quickly once it gets to a single bar of charge. I've got around 30 hours on my pack so far. For night riding, always carry a backup, like a mag light. The unit is small and mounts easily, as does the battery pack, with much flexibility of where to put the battery. For night mountain biking in twisty trails I would recommend a helmet-mounted light, too, so you can see where you're looking before you've turned this front light in that direction. But for most bike trails and relatively straight runs this light is sufficient. You can spend a lot more money, but this unit has very effective front and back lights, a light and small battery pack, and easy mounting leaves no excuse for not riding with the safety of lights front and rear.Update: Since writing this review I've had two problems with the red tail light. First, the screw that holds the light into the frame worked lose and the light fell off at night, unbeknownst to me. Fortunately, it was at night, so I was able to retrace my trail and find it! I used loctite on the threads to seal the screw back into the frame through the rubber seal. It wasn't long after that that I fortunately heard the unit fall off again on pavement and found that the screw head had pulled through the rubber seal. I put a steel washer between the screw head and rubber seal and again with loctite on the threads, so that should hold it. I'm not reducing my rating on this light as the value and function is still fantastic, but I'd be pretty pissed if I had to buy another tail light for these simple design quality issues with the tail light. Even so, the main light would be a great deal even if I had to buy a separate tail light. Also, I wouldn't depend on the little tail light alone for riding in or near traffic in any level of daylight; it's too small. At night it's fine. In daylight on roads I ride with a much brighter, flashing red light mounted on the back of my helmet for elevated visibility.

Works great
I have not had it long enough to rate battery life. Lights work great in daylight in flashing mode for visibility to others.

Great 8.4volt light with some issues
This light looks good and fits easily on my bike, purchased for winter commute especially through dark lanes. The good. Its bright enough on its lowest setting for urban use. With the reassuring option to use the brighter settings, angled down it's a spot, angled up it gives a good enough spread. The reasonable price and good build quality. A long cable. Not so good.It lasted 5 days on lowest setting for under 2hrs a day use. About 8hrs total.2nd week after charging, it only lasted 3 and a half days then just switched off.The connection seems good but it does not stand up to even damp Scottish days, I had to use the long cable to locate the battery and connection in a protected bag, it's working better so far. Will update after 3rd week. After keeping the battery and connection in protective bag no issues with the light over 5 days use.Now used daily for 2 months and no issues at all, I have really taken to this light and feel safer on the road paired with a moon nebula set to flash, for the price I paid its very good value.I wanted a spare battery but at this price just bought a 2nd light. I have added a brightness comparison photo.

Good for the Money, nice touches, DOES have strobe - 1600 lumen really
Proper branded off-road bike lights cost upards of £200 - so for the Money this is actually very good. You could easily run 2 lights for great visibility still at a fraction of that cost.Lumen overstates - based on other known lights I would estimate about 1400-1600 actual Lumen - Enough for off-road/MTB with a head light. This exact light is sold under another brand advertised at 1600 so this seems right.Lasted 2.5 hrs on Full Power from full charge initially - how this will degrade over time unsure, but 2hrs on full is good. Again supports it being more like 1600LmCharging from USB is average - from a standard 1A USB outlet, 5.5hrs from empty. Same as any brandBeam is narrowish, nice round light with no harsh edges, better for mid-distance lighting off-road - With a head light for close in/corners works well. Fine on own for urban. It DOES have a flash mode (other reviewers not read the instructions!). Press and hold the 'on' button for 2 seconds for strobe. Or just press for scrolling through full/med/low/off. Good that the strobe is separate, unlike many cheap bike lights. The clamp does seem a little flimsy, but first use was fine, didnt slip with the rubber insert. Seems flexible not brittle plastic. Easy enough to replace with a better clamp like a Hope or Brite-R style clamp - even factoring in that cost (£6-12), its still great value for 1600lm 2hr light. The battery case is solid plastic and seems well sealed (much better than other chep lights and brilliantly has a curved underside with 2 large soft rubber pads to protect and grip your frame - solid velcro strap - easy to attach to head tube or top/down tube.Time will tell on longevity - Amazon warranties for a year - if it lasts that long at this price, then that equates to 10 years of a brnded quality bike light of this power, so that seems ok.Suggest - for MTB/off-road: Buy 2 and swap clamps for a Brite-R/Hope clamp, and pair with a 1000lm head torch, to give great light solution for about £70 (+ head light). For Road - just this with a small blinking other light, upgrade clamp as above .

Heavy duty commuter light
This is different than my usual handlebar mounted torches. The issue with those is that they're big & bulky & heavy & I often find that the angle adjusts when you hit a bump due to the weight so thought I'd try a different style. It's for my commuter bike. The small torch sits on the handlebars on a mount & then the cable runs down & to a battery pack mounted on the frame. Another benefit I've found with this is that you don't need to mess with the torch angle once it's mounted, you can just remove the battery pack only to charge. Comes with all connectors needed & charger h mounting brackets & straps. I can't comment on the waterproof-ness of the connections as I only commute in good weather! 😅 Torch itself has 3 levels of brightness by scrolling through the settings & then you need to press & hold to get to the strobe. Bright enough for even those rough streets with no street lights! 🙈 Also comes with a rear red light - this is run via 2 x CR2032 batteries (the ones you use for car keys) & it even comes with them, just remember to take the paper out before trying to use it! Spares are very easily available in supermarkets too 🙂 I don't know if I'd want to take it out on my mtb on the trails with the cable being run along to the frame as I'm sure I'd catch it on a rogue tree branch or something! 😂 But for my commuter bike it's spot on. Would also be fab for bike-packing 🙂

Good for the price but missing a vital feature.
Took the light out on its first proper test today. Fully dark on fire roads and red grade single track in the woods, with temperatures down at around -1C.The light did its job, it's bright enough for MTB trail riding at night. However the light really needs a function to switch it on and off via holding down the button or a separate switch. As it is you cycle from low medium high and off. This means when adjusting brightness on the trail if you accidentally double tap the button the light goes off momentarily leaving you blind and liable to crash just at the moment you needed max brightness! If they fixed this flaw then this would be a pretty good light. As it is for that reason alone I wouldn't recommend it, which is a shame because otherwise for the money it's pretty decent.I was worried the mounting bracket looked a bit flimsy but it held solid throughout and has two thicknesses of rubber shim to fit different handelbar diameters. I was reasonably impressed with how it held up, the light is solidly mounted and didn't move at all despite the rough terrain.Battery wise it was in sub zero temps and the battery wasn't 100% charged however it quickly went on to 1 bar from 3 which was concerning. However on a range of brightness modes depending on situation it lasted the full hour and 10min ride without dropping into low battery warning mode. More testing needed here. The light its self seems solid enough and battery pack secured solidly to frame with velcro and has little curved rubber pads to help it fit well on your top tube. There is plenty of cable if you wanted to place the battery in a backpack or something, arguably too much to be honest you need to tape it down to avoid it getting tangled in your legs. The plug connector between the battery pack and light also seems snug and water tight. So all in all for the money it's well built and for for purpose but I wouldn't recommend until they remove the off function from the brightness cycle, it's inconvenient at best and leathal at worst.

Don't look directly into the light if you value your eyesight
The media could not be loaded. I was in need of a bike light to help me see rather than just for me to be seen. For the price, I think you'll be hard pressed to beat this light. I tried it out on a local lane with no streetlights early morning when it was overcast. There was no natural light to help me out, but this lit the way sufficiently on the medium brightness, and it was the only light source around. I was able to descend along a road through the local forest at 30mph+ and was able to see enough of the road ahead to feel comfortable, although I wouldn't like to go much faster than that as the light pattern doesn't light up as much to the sides of the road as I would like. The external battery pack may not be to everyone's liking, but that isn't an issue for me as it fits perfectly on the side of my handlebar stem, and the cable is long enough to find a good number of places for mounting the battery if you needed to. I haven't fully charged it yet, but battery life seems very good when used mostly on the low setting with the occasional medium setting. I haven't needed to use it on full beam as yet as it is plenty bright enough for what I need. Overall, very pleased with it.
