These were perfect to cut out the shapes I wanted. I cut out the shapes while the sponges were compressed, then hydrated them so they'd fluff up. The next day when they were dry, they were ready to use with paint. These are great for kids' projects.

Easy to cut and perfect for stamps for the children.

These sponges work great for children’s art projects. They appear like thick cardboard to draw and cut shapes out of, and then instantly pop up to 1/2” thick sponges when water is applied. My 5 year old enjoyed the process of making sponge stamps, and then they held up to multiple uses of heavy paint and rinsing.

Great product. Can be cut into intricate forms for stamping. I use it for fabric design.

These sponges are supposed to be thin so you can cut out shapes easily for crafting. Only one of the four were thin so they were hard to cut. I was very disappointed.

I purchased this to create shaped stamps for art projects - printmaking. It works very well since it is easy to cut, then expand with water so you can comfortably handle it. It also makes cleanup a lot simpler. I'll be buying more!
