Our 6 year old daughter has been identified as a writer in her 1st grade class. After encouragement from her teacher to purchase a journal for her we bought this product. It has opened up many doors of her imagination as every two pages encourages her to draw a small picture and then there is ample space for her to write about her photo. This is a great product for young writers!!!

Wow my daughter loves this and takes it everywhere she goes. Bought the pirate copy for my son too. I guess I will have to buy more soon as they can't stop drawing and writing stories. The cover is lovely too. Good buy. Thanks for making my holiday a peaceful one as they hardly have my time :).

Maybe it looks a little bit cheap. It will do the job though as it is only for our 5 year old to take on holiday.
