Nope. Not reliable. Failed during emergency.
Bought this for use in an emergency for my aging father for Christmas. Well. He fell the day after Christmas.(today) Button did not work. Phone sitting just out of reach. Green light lut up. No calls went out. Thankfully his yells we're answered. Or he would still be laying there.Went over checked out button. Only works if the app is open. Well that's pointless. Might as well carry your phone with you.Definitely not something to bet your life on hoping this would work. Now the PREMIUM MONTHLY PAID part they want you to buy might work but not the way I ordered it off Amazon and expected it to work. Useless.

Buttons are different for someone with dexterity issues
I got this for my 92 year old client that lives alone. She doesn’t want emergency services to be notified so I found this. It only calls selected numbers to call like family or neighbors. The buttons are too small for her to press because of arthritic hands. I will continue to look for something that will hopefully work for her.

Complete Trash
I went against other's reveiws and purchased this for my mother to try out. On the day of arrival, I downloaded the app to her phone and set everything up with my phone number as the emergency contact. The app said everything was connected. I pressed both buttons on the pendant for the required 2-3 seconds before the light flashed 3 times to indicate the it has been activated. Nothing happened. No call to my phone, no sound from her phone......nothing. I tried a few more times with the same result. With my head held in shame, I initiated a return with Amazon. The next day, I tried to activate the pendant again. This time my phone rang with an automated msg telling me that my mother has activated the emergency pendant and needs help. I also received a text with a Google Map link showing her exact location. Nothing was changed on her phone or with the app since it was installed and set up the previous day. With excitement, I canceled the return. The next day (3 days ago), I tested it again. Nothing! I have been testing it at various times of day since and can't get it to work again. Her phone is connected to home wi-fi so her phone has a direct connection to the internet. Internet connection is not the problem.Don't waste your money or trust your loved one's safety with this product. Trust what others are saying about this. You might get better service if you subbed to their monthly plan instead of the free one, but if the free one don't work, then I'm not willing to waste more money to try it.

Terrible design
I'm a design engineer. I got this for my wife who has medical issues so that she could alert me when she needs help even if I'm more than a few hundred feet from the house. First, it's unreliable. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. However, the main problem is that there are two TINY buttons that you need to press simultaneously and hold down for two seconds for it to alert the phone. My wife was not able to press them even once. Her motor skills are average. This must have been designed by some youngsters with small hands. I can find no other device on the market that has this feature of being able to alert another cell phone. I guess I'll have to invent one. I am considering repackaging the unit with a larger SINGLE button.

Epic Fail
Ordered in mid-February. Tested and worked. March 1st. After a fall, my mother, 90, tried to activate the pendent to alert me. Failed. She Called 911 and received help. The unit lost pairing to Bluetooth. Would not pair again. I would not trust this product.
