For the price, this is a pretty good quality costume. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the quality. The costume seams are strong and sewn nicely. The cross is wood and is on a metal ball chain and also pretty good quality. The rope belt is a cotton blend with tape around the ends to prevent unraveling. I might tie a knot in the ends though as they tape isn't likely to hold up well over time.I ordered a large for my husband. He is 5'6' and about 150 pounds. The costume fit well. I'm larger than him and was able to put it on as well though so I don't think that it runs small as others have said. It that's a concern though, order larger and cinch it up with the belt or if you have a sewing machine, it would be easy to stitch up the side seams to take it in.My husband wore this to a Medieval Times Dinner and Show and then again for a Halloween party for our card club. He got compliments on his costume at our Halloween card club party.The costume is made of polyester so it washed up nicely and doesn't hold onto stains easily.My husband found the hood to be a little large and annoying, but I think it's meant to be large in order to look authentic. He just wore the hood down.

Used for a quick Hallowe'en costume, the fabric was better than I expected, but the heavy creases from the item being folded & packed so small were very hard to remove. Even after washing & drying they were still very prominent. However, after taking quite some time with a small fabric steamer, the folds/creases/wrinkles were either completely gone or significantly diminished, and the fabric flowed much better, improving the appearance. I also slightly distressed the black plastic cross so that it showed up better against the brown robe. Overall I thought it was a great bargain.

An easy excellent and cheap costume when you need one in the quick and cheap. Good stitching and quality, and the rope belt was quite well made as well. One can fit many sized folks, so buy big and use it for years.

Affordable but the material isn't the greatest feeling. But for the price it definitely gets the job done.

The crosses fell apart immediately; the rope belts threatened to unravel, but we rehearse in costume for weeks. These were good quality robes and hoods!

This customer looks like the real deal although because it is made of linen/canvas like fabric (what makes it very durable) makes it hot and therefore good for a cool night and ot so.much for a hot one.The hood, in my opinion, it's way too big, the crucifix made cheaply and the chain that will hold it is very flimsy but, overall its a great costume.If this is the look you are looking for, buy it and enjoy the party.

I searched for boys costumes and this popped up. Made the mistake of not reading it properly and realizing this was for an adult or teenager not a boy of 10 who wears a size 10/12.My package was missing the accessories. Disappointed it was too big and missing pieces as I was very pleasantly surprised with the material. Usually costume like this the material is cheap flimsy and sheer. Not this one it was made of decent material and a nice thickness
