This is a work of art!! I love everything by this author. You get any book by her and the drawings just bring you to the coziest place ever. Again,this is for me,adult,I am not sharing it with anyone,it’s too good. This is a book to put on a display and take out on special moments. Such a treasure. And the story of the author is interesting. What a talented lady. Highly recommend all her books. It inspires one to start some sort of craft or maybe it’s just me. If you love cozy beautiful drawings of creatures and their beautiful houses - get all the books by Jill Barklem!

Such a sweet little book. I (the grandma) love the stories of Brambly Hedge. To me, the pop-ups are more like paper tole, meaning the illustrations are layered and stacked rather than a regular popup book. You'll need to pull the page layers up and apart to get them loosened up before they come to life.

I bought this for my grandchildren and it is so cute!!

This beautifully illustrated book may not be the typical pop-up book or one with sliding tabs that change to reveal images, but it's perfect for the kid who delights in intricate detailed pictures but is still a little rough with books - a "pop-up" book that won't be torn. The story is of course wonderful, and there's plenty in the pictures to explore and talk about as you read together. The illustrations are more of a stage or tableau with layering /spacing of images over backgrounds/other staged images. There is depth in each picture with this style of construction. It's like looking a a play on a stage of lovely stage designs. Not a typical pop-up - but a real jewel that may hold up better in the long run. Totally beautiful and holds attention - at any age

Just has a cutout overlay on top some pictures that stays down flat. No movement at all, nothing pops up or down or sideways or opens in any way, shape or form. Of course the art is cute however nothing is enhanced to move to bring the “pop up” feature which brings added fun, however is not done for this book.

I’m just so disappointed. It looked brilliant from what I was able to see. There weren’t adequate images to show what kind of book it is. So, expecting a pop up, I was extremely disappointed especially for the price. I don’t know what it is, but I wouldn’t call it a pop up. Not truly. It’s more like 3D effect pages…? Hard to explain. Don’t expect a traditional pop up. It’s a lovely book otherwise. It was just hard to get over my disappointment.
