Quick and easy
The faceplate is already installed. Just remove a screw, slide the old one,slide the new one in, and replace the screw. I was done in 5 minutes and the unit worked just fine. Couldn't have been easier.

Easy to install works just fine. My only issue is cosmetic. The outside of the drive didn't exactly meet the contours of my laptop but it is an older machine and that is probably the reason.
