Essential tool for all AK and SKS owners! This rugged steel front sight adjustment tool allows the operator to dial in the front sight for both windage (left/right) and elevation (up/down). The width of the elevation adjustment socket is extra wide so it works for all AK variants; AK-47, AK-74, SKS, AKM etc. Not the prettiest tool in town, but it gets the job done. And that is a beautiful thing! Use Tips: - Before use. Let the front sight soak in a penetrating oil like WD-40 to remove corrosion and loosen up the screw & cylinder. - Use electrical tape if you want to preserve the pristine finish on your AK. Ha:) - Use a bench rest. Setup a target and shoot a group of 3 rounds. - If you group is too low, screw down the elevation screw (clockwise). - If you group is too high raise the elevation screw (counter clockwise). - If you group is too far to the right use the C clamp to carefully push the front sight cylinder to the right (from the shooters perspective). - If you group is too far to the left use the C clamp to carefully push the front sight cylinder to the left (from the shooters perspective). - Work in small increments (quarter turn). - Rinse and repeat. Go slow. When satisfied move the target further downrange to fine tune your rifle.
