I believe this book is interesting for any age, has a great value for money and it’s easy to understand. I purchased it for myself because I wanted something that explained in detail to better understand the English language. It comes with QR code in the lessons which is very interesting because we have the opportunity to listen too to improve even more. To access it is easy, you just need to follow the instructions that are in the boxes on the side with the arrow pointing to the QR Code. Note: I highly recommend this.

This is the second workbook I received for my granddaughter who is half Dutch and lives in Holland. She is doing very well in English in school and I felt these books may help her . Her pronunciation is very good but for those just learning the language the use of QR codes on various sections linking to spoken examples would be very useful . Some of the topics in the second book include : Section 1 - Nouns and Punctuation Capital Letters and Describing People.......... Learning when to use capital letters, practising describing yourself Section 1 Countable and Uncountable nouns Section 2-Verbs At the Weekend......... Asking and answering questions that use 'did' and 'didn't, using the simple past tense Learning how to give instructions and commands; Sports..... Making sentences describing how often and where you do an activity. Making sentences that use the present progressive, practising adding "ing" to verbs In the Holidays...... Making sentences that use 'going to to talk about the future, Section 3-Adjectives and Adverbs Animals........ Learning the order in which adjectives appear before nouns, describing animals Writing sentences using adverbs and fronted adverbials, learning spelling rules Transport Learning how to describe nouns with comparatives (eg bigger than) and super... Section 4-Reading Comprehension My School Day Practising and developing reading comprehension skills, Section 5-Maths Language Numbers 30-100 Answers to question in each section are at the back of the book.

The books was packaged in standard Amazon packaging. The book is A4 in size and nicely illustrated inside with lots of colourful pictures. The books covers Nouns and Punctuation, Verbs, Adjectives and Adverbs, Reading Comprehension, Word order and pronunciation, More Verbs, Possessives and Prepositions, Reading Comprehension, Maths Language, Subject Language and Verb Tables. It has lots of questions and space for the child to write in the answer. It is useful for anyone home schooling or for a teacher supporting in the classroom. First, you need to understand that these books are a useful support and addition to tuition or a proper course of study, NOT a replacement. Make no mistake. However, once you understand that, it is a useful tool. This is the second in the series, so you definitely need to get the first one BEFORE you use this. This time,you get sections on word order, more verbs, possessives and prepositions and comprehension. You get specific language help for history, geography, music and the individual sciences. It progresses and deepens the learning from the previous book. This is a well designed and thought out course- it builds from book to book. It is a phonics based programme, so the SOUND of words is clearly essential. The clever thing is that this book includes free online audio, which is absolutely essential. Worth every penny ! If used properly. N.B. the book itself states ,students will need help reading the instructions. Don't just give this book to the child. They will really struggle. But working with them,it will be really useful.

This is book is designed for 11-16 years old who are new to English, but I find it also a great workbook for an adult immigrant to learn English. It covers listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Its step by step structure can guide the student through scaffolded activities which allow the student to learn the contents of each topic in a fun and engaging way. Most of the topics in the book such as weekend activities, sports, holidays, animals, transport, shopping, etc are used in everyday’s life. The grammar knowledge about punctuation, nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, are particularly useful for improving writing skills. It’s a high quality book. Carefully written, immaculately presented and funny. In fact, my daiughter had been using GCP workbooks through her primary school for maths and English. Those books helped her building solid academic foundation for her secondary school.

easy to read and well written

The book is wet and not usable.
