Ebony wood
Great ebony wood for a great price. I needed a dark wood as scales for this particular bowie knife so I found these on amazon for a fair price. The wood is hard and solid and will always keep its beautiful dark color. Well worth the price.

Beautiful ebony wood, always looks so classy
This ebony wood has a nice dark color with honey and wheat banding slightly visible so when they are shaped and polished they’re going to look amazing, you just can’t beat ebony woods for knife handles, it can be given a beautiful high luster polish when sanded to higher grits, and they are a dense oily wood so peening them after gluing will make sure your epoxy hold good, very happy with these pieces of wood

Nice wood for the project
I cut these in 2 pieces and used them as "piano keys" for a serving tray. They worked out great.

Wood was gorgeous. Unfortunately, one scales was cracked through the middle of most of its length and one was approximately 1/16" thinner than the other 3. Luckily I only needed 2 of the 4
