Best booty lifting compression gym leggings for all types of workouts
I usually do not find tight compression workout leggings appealing as a yoga sculpt, Barre, Pilates girlie; however, the hype of these booty lifting leggings has me curious. I bought one pair in the safest color black on a sale for 19.99 and OMG I am so happy for myself. I put these on and they were incredibly comfortable for how thick and well they held up at the waist, then I turned around and checked my behind profile and BAM. I had to do a double take. It looked so lifted and perky! I couldn't believe something this comfortable and squat proof really did all the lifting. I wore it all day for my remote work and did two workouts - strength and Barre and it held up well all day.Best value, breathable, squat proof and one of the best Amazon workout leggings I've ever tried.

Impressive Quality & Value (My Go-To Leggings)
For the price, these are great leggings! They fit like the alphalete leggings. They are squat proof and sweat proof. They are stretchy and not see through. I follow the care instructions (cold wash, air dry), and they come out looking brand new every time. These leggings hold up incredibly well to frequent wear and workouts. These are easily one of the best budget-friendly leggings on the market. Whether you’re working out, lounging, or on the go, these leggings are incredibly versatile.

GREAT purchase, but you should know...
I got these leggings because I wanted to know if I should keep dropping huge amounts of money on more expensive brands (Alpha), or if these would be a sufficient dupe for now on. Now let me say I was so pleasantly shocked by how soft and smooth these leggings were when they came out of the package. My jaw had dropped! The feel of them is buttery soft and I can't stop feeling them when they're on. Already, this is enough for me to like these leggings (feel is everything for me). I think the brand did a great job of matching the photo of the product with the color I got, it was pretty spot on. I got Shaded Spruce, it's a beautiful color. I have heard that other colors look slightly different from the pictures, though.Things you should know before purchasing (I would want to know): For reference, I am 5'3", 140 pounds with an athletic build, and I bought a medium. I definitely could fit into a small, but I don't mind sacrificing a bit of compression to make sure my leggings are not sheer. These are not sheer at all on me and they sinch my waist just enough to where they are not falling down, and my tummy isn't spilling out the sides. I can wear these at the gym and lounge in them around the house. Other brands I feel like I can't eat or be bloated in them without hurting my stomach. Not a problem with these!Next thing to cover is the booty scrunch. It is nearly identical to the best brands with a scrunch. HOWEVER, the material of the Aurola Dream collection is so slippery and smooth that it will move to where the scrunch doesn't stay in your crack if that makes sense. You would have to keep adjusting it to get it all the way in there. I personally don't mind the fact that it doesn't stay, I think it looks slightly more modest and not in your face, so I don't bother adjusting it. It still really accentuates your glutes. Just something to be aware of.Finally, the durability of clothing is a major factor in my purchasing decisions. When I first opened these leggings, I was ready to swear off Alphalete forever. But I told myself not to get ahead of myself and see how long they would hold up. If you buy one pair of Amplifies and they last you a year (as mine have so far), but these leggings only last you 4 months, the winner is clear, despite the price tag. It's important to me to invest in products that last when I can afford to (I know that not everyone can, unfortunately). I have worn and washed (without machine dry) these leggings to the gym twice now and I can already see the fabric breaking down (lots and lots of fuzzies on top of the leggings where friction has occurred, increased sheerness). I will definitely wear these leggings into the ground because I undoubtedly still love them, but I think all of these factors are important to consider. Definitely give them a try! I can see myself getting another pair or two because I love how they feel and when money is tight, these are a great option, now I just know what I'm paying for. Also, confused as to why the Aurola leggings and shorts are nearly the same price. I feel like I'm getting a good deal for the leggings, but the shorts I just can't justify spending that same amount.

Wondering what the difference is? Read this review!
So, I’m the dummy who didn’t read the description before buying these and I thought they were the same as the original Aurola leggings but just a new color range. I was wrong. Now that I’ve read the description, it makes more sense, and I want to explain to you the differences if you like the original Aurola leggings and are thinking about getting these but don’t know what to expect.1. The waistband has 2 horizontal rows of compression instead of 3 like the original Aurola leggings.2. The bum scrunch is thinner (only 4 stitching columns instead of 5 like the original. The shorts also have 4 stitching columns)3. The original Aurola leggings are a mixture of 54% Nylon, 34% Polyester, and 10% Spandex. These new ones are 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex, so they definitely feel different (they’re unbelievably soft!)4. The original Aurola leggings are much stretchier and have more give, whereas these are definitely more compressive and seem thicker (which could be a plus if you want leggings that hide more cellulite)5. The gusset in the crotch is much longer, meaning instead of only being a diamond in the crotch area, the ends actually extend down the inner thigh about 1/4 of the way down the thigh (depending on how tall you are. You can see the gusset down the thighs in the product pictures)My advice to you: maybe size up in these from whatever you wear in the original Aurola leggings. I am usually a small or medium depending on the leggings. The original Aurola leggings are very stretchy so I can very comfortably wear a small. I bought a small in these new ones and, while I can get them on, they’re a bit too compressive to be comfortable for a workout and I don’t trust them not to pop a seam somewhere. Also the waistband was constantly rolling down when I briefly tried them on because they are tighter than the originals.Final thoughts: the quality is awesome, as with all Aurola activewear, but I’m returning these and getting more of the original leggings because I prefer the stretchier, thinner, “second skin” feel. However, I’m still rating these 5 stars because they’re awesome and there’s nothing wrong with them, they’re just not my personal fit preference.I hope this helps someone out there!
