Enjoyed the book, interesting and emotional. Loved the story. Kept my interest during all of the book. Looking forward to reading the next one.

What a nice group of books in this trilogy. Second book is turning out to be as good as the first, Talented people doing real things and finding love while at it, Barbara's stories prove that there is someone for everyone. You just have to patient. JMB in Lincoln, RI

Good story but too much time wasted on past feelings and insecurities. Way too much sex . I would have enjoyed more history of the house.

I always enjoy a series so I can get to know the characters. the plots were a little predictable, but fun to see what was happening to all the characters.

Barbara Delinsky is an excellent writer. Read one of her books several years ago, loved it. Decided to check out more books by Barbara at the library. Found a triology that she wrote. First one, "The Dream". As years go by and family homes do go down hill if not kept up financially. Families move on - but love of home by a member, their are ways on moving progress better and more efficient. I like how this came together, moving forward to save the ancestral home and stay with the elements of time. It is a positive dream which could very well be managed and updated to present day.Yes, I would recommend this book - has romance, promises and fulfilling dreams for the future.

This book was very entertaining. It was and is a wonderful love story about two very incredible characters. I fell in love with the Crosslyn Rise land and hated that Jessica couldn't afford to keep it.

I found this book to be entertaining. I wish it would have gone into there future. When the book had ended I felt that the story had just begun.

As always, main characters are strong, believable, and very human! Can't wait to read the second storyline!! This author always makes you want MORE!!
