Bought this for my craft-loving 9 year old and it's fine for her as long as an adult helps! The "Box Theatre" design is brilliant, as the entire scene is enclosed within a small, portable, and dust-resistant box, making it a wonderful display piece once completed. Be warned: this is a highly intricate kit best suited for those with patience and experience in miniature crafting, as the pieces are tiny and require precise cutting, folding, and gluing . The instructions are mainly visual, clear enough for inexperienced crafters, and the finished result is stunning, including small LED lights to bring the detailed scene to life. This is excellent value for a rewarding project and makes a charming, unique gift!

I have recently got into making miniature models and I liked the look of this one, and that it came in a tin. It came with everything except button batteries. You will also need glue, fine-tipped tweezers, good paper scissors, and a scalpel. I also used clothes pegs to hold some bits together while they stuck. You can’t rush this and get a good result, so if you’re looking for something that requires patience, mindfulness and a steady hand, this will be perfect. The end result is very cute. I put the lights on, closed the tin and handed it to my daughters to open up. The looks on their faces was delightful! Im looking forward to making another one soon :-)

This was alot of fun to make. Very very fiddly at times, however this was my first tiny project so I'm not used to working with things this small. I was however able to complete it all and u have wonderful satisfaction from it being completed. Highly recommend, ill be buying the rest of them in the series!

You need a ton a patience to do these kits. Each will take maybe 8 hours to complete. BUT that’s the enjoyment. You need to relax and enjoy the process. If you try and rush because you just want the finished product then this will just cause frustration and likely this is not the kit for you. I use some cheap glasses that magnify about 2.5 times. You need good glue and some decent small scissors and tweezers. I love these kits, but they are challenging and definitely not suitable for young kids.

It arrived quickly and included everything needed. Only thing missing was the glue but that wasn’t a problem to me. Little fiddly but I’ve really enjoyed building it and will purchase again.
