We are happy with this purchase. The train is not small, which is good for our toddler. Pieces do break/crack with falls though, as a heads up for kids who may be rough with toys. Love the bubbles, and we didn't have any issues with smell. Also really love the auto-turn feature, and it works well!

Had to remove the battery after a while, because our grandson was so thrilled with this toy that we needed a break.

WHAT MY DAUGHTER LOVED MOST:My daughter loved the bubbles, of course. She also really liked the way the train moved around in different directions and had fun "chasing" it around the kitchen. It has lots of lights and a fun tune, so it holds a child's attention for more than a few seconds (at least in my experience). She always asks to play with the bubble train.WHAT I LOVED MOST (and LEAST):The price is very comparable to similar toys on Amazon and I can vouch for the quality of this toy after trying it out.The CifToys Bubble Blowing Toy Train came with free shipping with my Amazon Prime membership and arrived very quickly, as expected. The train is incredibly gentle when it "bumps" into items. I was really shocked at how delicately it operates then backs away to steer into another direction. It will not damage even the most fragile items because it is super light and does not crash into things, but merely slides very lightly into something then changes course quickly and gently.The train is very detailed in its design and construction. It comes with a funnel to make pouring the bubbles into it easier and it fits perfectly! I only wish there were a little compartment on the train itself (or even a hook to hang it on) to put the funnel so it doesn't get lost. It comes with the train, bubbles, and the funnel. It does require batteries that are not supplied as part of the purchase.There is an ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the train. It is a bit tricky for my three year old to operate, but it's not too bad...I LOVE the catchy party tune music that the train has! It really makes me want to get up and dance, and the song sticks in my mind for awhile. That's not a bad thing - it's really cute and fun. It really does literally make me think: PARTY! Many reviewers on Amazon commented that the volume was a bit too loud. It is not blaring, but it would be nice to have some kind of volume control, although I don't personally think it's too loud. Any louder, though, and it would be!It can be hard to determine how much of the bubble solution to pour into the train because there is no gauge to show how full the compartment is and it isn't see-through so it can be easy to overfill. It would be much better if there were some kind of indicator or fill line of some sort on the train rather than blindly pouring bubbles into the train. If you pour too little, the bubbles won't flow out. If you pour too much, it will obviously overflow and spill out. Also, the bubbles seem to get clogged every now and then, but I'm not sure why or how that could be easily improved.

This is an odd little train. My son loves trains and bubbles, so I thought he would love this toy. Unfortunately he does not. When the train is on, it chugs around the room with multi colored LED lights flashing from the top and loud music blaring (alternating with a short train sounds clip). He doesn't like the music, and there is no way to turn it off. The train does ceverly avoid obstacles and change direction on it's own. The bubbles work well for a few minutes and then rapidly dimminish to a few bubbles every now and then despite the bubble compartment still being 3/4 full of bubbles. The bubble compartment is easy to overfill, spilling bubbles on the floor. It will also leak if the train tips over. It may actually leak when not tipped over as well, though I can't be certain it isn't just residual spilled bubbles from the earlier aformentioned mishaps. The train seems rather cheaply made. The decorative stickers were peeling off when we opened the toy, and the plastic wheels feel flimsy (though they are decorative rather that functional so I suppose they don't have to be too strong). Overall it's not terrible, but I was hoping for something better.

I love this toy and i'm an adult. I enjoy playing with bubbles with my son, but this toy lets me play with him hands free. It moves and spurts out bubbles with perfect timing. This toy works better on my hardwood floors than my carpet, but I love that it turns directions once it hits something. No more having to turn it back around to continue playing. The music, as like any kids toy today, is catchy and I find myself humming it at night when he's not around. the lights seem a little bright for a kids toy, but i suppose it could come in handy when i run out of bubbles and turn the lights off to still enjoy the toy.this toy did not come with batteries (4 AA are needed) but it did come with a container of bubbles. My son loves trying to chase this toy around the room. I would recommend this toy to anyone who loves the following: bubbles, trains, or a childs' laugh!

We’ve had two of these. They’re supposedly safe for ages 3 and up. They’re nowhere near sturdy enough for a 3 year old, even a gentle one.The first one, broke when he dropped it from his hands, a distance of maybe a foot. We admonished him and made him earn the money for the second.The second we watched closely and made sure he didn’t pick it up. We put it away before bed and got it out the next morning so he couldn’t play with it unsupervised. It still stopped working within a few hours of use. It wasn’t the batteries. Even with replaced batteries and refills on bubbles it gummed up and stopped spewing bubbles and going in slow mo then shutting off.Also the movement does NOT work on carpeting. Even low pile carpeting. It moves slightly on linoleum but definitely not as advertised
