CodyCoCodyCo Aluminum Security Lock Bracket for Pelican Elite Cooler Ice Chest

This is the only ice chest lock/bracket that fits the pelican elite series coolers, as the Pelican elite coolers lock opening width is just slightly over an inch. The other available lock brackets made are 1 1/2" and 1 3/8" width, etc. so they wont fit. This bracket is aluminum, and everyone wants steel, but this aluminum bracket is very thick. It was a really tight fit, and I used a vise and pliers to try to widen out the bracket section that fits down into and over the cooler lip. Got it done, but it took a lot of force to push it/widen it out for a better fit. Its in super tight, but remember, locks just keep honest people honest. If it's sitting out long enough, a determined bad gut with get it. Cheers

I naught this in October of 16 it broke in may, now I will say it road in the back of the truck 90% of the time getting through around the back of the truck on the farm. It fit good and tight but broke where the hole is. I think it would be better if it were steel instead of aluminum

This thing is heavy duty! I don't think I'm have my ice chest stolen again! Great product and worth every penny!
